Evelyn walked into her classroom suprised to find Monroe standing there. Sorry to scare you the guidance counselor said but I wanted to ask you some questions about Mason. I know you are close to his friend Liam. And you want me to tell you about him Look I'm sorry but I'm sure you'll understand when I say that I don't talk about students personal issues to others even to guidance counselors. What about Liam Monroe asked. Evelyn could feel her heartbeat quicken when she remembered the events of last night she had stayed at home while they had tracked Brett knowing that too many people would destroy the trail. When I said students I meant all students Evelyn clarified walking past the woman to her desk. So you're not going to tell me anything Monroe asked. Not unless you are going to tell me why you're asking or Liam or Mason tells me to Evelyn said. Monroe nodded walking out of the room. Evelyn sighed sinking into her chair. She pulled out a peice of paper and pen she had a bad feeling she wasn't going to survive this one. They had decided that Evelyn would stay at the school since she was good at hiding in plain sight and she didn't exhibit any obvious signs of being supernatural along with the added help of being an Argent and knowing how the hunters thought and worked. Really the only danger was Gerard who she was pretty sure wasn't quite ready to kill her yet. Just in case Evelyn had taken Lexie out of school she stayed with one of the pack during the day she knew Gerard's tactics he probably wouldn't kill her not yet but he would kill the others taking everything she and the pack held dear peice by peice it was why she knew she couldn't send the letters to Derek the second he stepped foot in Beacon Hills Gerard would kill him and if Derek knew what was going on he would come back to help Scott. She had written one last letter hiding it in the bunker just in case she didn't survive she had written down the things she wanted to say to him.

Evelyn looked up as she heard her classroom door shut it was lunch time  and she was hiding in her room. Can we hide in here Mason asked Corey and Liam appearing next to him . Yeah it's a little hostile out there Corey said. Sure but if anyone comes in here Corey and Liam can't be seen Evelyn said. Why Liam asked. Because it's the only way I can get information if they all think I'm just an unconcerned third party Evelyn told him. Until Gerard tells everyone Mason pointed out. Well when that happens we'll know that the war has begun Evelyn said. What are the others doing Mason asked. Last I checked they were trying a peace summit Evelyn said. That could end horribly Liam said. As long as at the end everyone is alive we're good Evelyn said. I'm meeting them after school she said. I thought you were supposed to stay out of sight Mason said. I can shoot from over two hundred feet away I can stay out of sight and help Evelyn said. I'm really glad you're on our side Corey said.

Evelyn rushed out of her classroom as she heard shouting down the hallway accompanied by the gut feeling that Liam was in trouble. Sprinting down the hall she found herself outside the science room there was half the senior class outside. Evelyn tried to push through but she was shoved back. Instinctively she curled in on herself rolling onto the balls of her toes she caught her balance. Suddenly coach appeared. The two teachers shared a look. Evelyn had known for a while that coach knew everything. Coach nodded before stepping forward what is going on here he shouted causing the group of students to disperse. Evelyn darted forward Liam she gasped rushing toward the beta. Remember your mantra she whispered. You can do this Mason said from beside her. Liam took a deep breath relaxing Evelyn sighed looking back at coach she nodded. Thank you she mouthed. Coach nodded before turning and walking away as Mason helped Liam out. Coach usually never got involved in the supernatural world but Evelyn realized he gave the kids something they needed much more a sense of normalcy even if it was just for a moment they were like any other kid on that field treated the exact same.

Scott Evelyn shouted jogging into the McCall house. Mom Lexie called running to her. Lex Evelyn said hugging her daughter as Scott came around the corner Lydia and Malia behind him along with a new girl. Evelyn what's wrong Lydia asked. They attacked Liam today at the school beat him up coach broke up the fight but nowhere is safe they could have killed him. This has to end they were just kids imagine what adults or anyone with any fighting experience could do Evelyn said. Gerard and Monroe won't negotiate Scott said what are you suggesting we fight. No Evelyn said I suggest that we beat Gerard at his own game Evelyn said we outsmart him.
