Evelyn walked into the apartment Parrish behind her he had insisted on following her home since she had seen one of the ghost riders even when she reminded him that he had seen one to. You want some coffee Evelyn asked walking over to the machine. Parrish looked at the pile of reasearch she had spread out throughout the living room. When was the last time you slept he asked. I don't remember Evelyn said. Why aren't you sleeping he asked walking over and grabbing her cup of coffee out of her hands he set it on the counter top behind her. Evelyn sighed looking up at the deputy. I just feel like I'm missing something she said this kid who we think the ghost riders erased I think I knew him that he was important to me I know that Lydia loved him that he was Scott's best friend and important to Malia but I don't know why he was so important to me Evelyn rambled walking past Parrish to the papers she had spread out. I keep having the same dream I'm in the woods she said sitting down on the couch. I'm in the woods searching for someone but I can't remember who then I reach the cave where we found Malia Scott's dad is there with Melissa and they pull someone out in the dream I feel so relieved but when the boy turns I can't see his face Evelyn said looking back at Parrish who sat down right next to her on the couch. They sat there for a minute just looking at each other before Parrish hesitantly leaned forward lightly kissing her. For a moment all the reasons why this could never work out why she should walk away including the fact that she was still in love with Derek and he was a distraction, flew out of Evelyn's head she leaned closer to Parrish kissing him back. They jumped apart as they heard the door open. I'm back Argent called I should go Parrish said standing up and walking out. You wanna tell me what Parrish was doing here Argent asked walking into the living room to find Evelyn with her head in her hands. She groaned besides convincing me my social life is a total wreck Evelyn asked. Argent sighed sitting down next to her. What happened he asked. I kissed him she said. And I have no idea why she said I mean I like him he's nice and sweet and kind of cute but. But you're not over Derek Argent said. Evelyn nodded. And yet I'm worried that it's never going to work out with Derek Evelyn said softly I mean I pretty much screwed that up you know I'm great at screwing things up Evelyn said. Come here Argent whispered holding out an arm. Evelyn scooted over leaning into his side she laid her head on his shoulder. If you think you should then give Parrish a chance he whispered but don't give up hope on Derek you might be great at screwing up relationships but he always seems to come back to you. I don't think that's going to happen this time Evelyn whispered. Anyway she muttered when are you going to ask Melissa out. Not this again Argent said do you want your social life to be as messed up as mine Evelyn asked. It already is Argent muttered. He liked Melissa but he was to scared to ruin their friendship.
