Stiles asked. Evelyn rolled her eyes. Then her thoughts wandered to that morning when she had woken up next to Derek, his arms wrapped around her. Oh, that is definitely the something happen face Lydia said. OK, maybe something happened, Evelyn said. Suddenly, Evelyn remembered why it was awkward between her and Derek. Her mood shifted. Is something happening not a good thing? Malia asked. You smell like a ball of stress. It's complicated, Evelyn said. What kind of complicated, Lydia asked. The kind where you really like him, but you're an idiot, and the first time he asked, you said no, and then something happened, and now it's weird, and people are trying to kill us, so there's that too. Yeah, I guess that makes a relationship hard, but you're going to have to do something because I think I speak for everyone when I say that you two are getting annoying, Lydia said. Not to mention the murderous looks you shoot Braeden when she flirts with him, Stiles said. I do not. I'm not jealous of Braeden, Evelyn said. Oh, you are so jealous Malia said. OK, enough gossiping. We really need to figure this out, Evelyn said, turning back to the board. You do realize that we just basically had girl talk with Stiles Lydia said. They all started to laugh. Stiles asked half the questions anyway. Evelyn choked out.
