Evelyn quickly dropped Lexie off at her father's apartment. She had decided to get rid of her own, thinking two Argent apartments in Beacon Hills was a little much when all of them could fit into the one. Evelyn took off again, looking for Lydia. Evelyn could tell she was in the woods, but she kept moving in a haphazard way, making it hard for Evelyn to track her.

Lydia Evelyn called, running through the woods. Lydia, she shouted again. Evelyn turned a corner, running straight into someone else. She stumbled backward. Parrish, she said, realizing who it was. Lydia Evelyn said she's in trouble. I know Parrish said how Evelyn asked. I don't know he said. Wait Evelyn said stiffening she turned to the right this way she said grabbing Parrish's hand and pulling him along the deputy just stumbled after her not even thinking to question why she was back in Beacon Hills. Lydia Evelyn said, letting go of Parrish's hand. She rushed forward, pulling the banshee off the ground. Lydia, she called, cradling her in her arms. Something's wrong, Evelyn said. Can you heal her Parrish asked I mean Scott said you heal people it's not that easy Evelyn said it's psychological I can only heal the physical psychological is harder. I-I don't know if I can help. So what do we do? Parrish asked take her to Scott. Not the best idea, but I don't have a better one, Evelyn said. Parrish nodded, wondering what Evelyn's issue was with trusting Scott.

Scott, wake up Parrish yelled, shaking the alpha. Scott Evelyn shouted from where she was standing with Lydia. She could tell Scott was wounded, but right now, Lydia worried her more, especially after she had seen the claw marks on the back of her neck. Someone had tried to tamper with her memories, and it had gone wrong. Are you alright Parrish asked Scott once he got up. Yeah, Scott groaned, sitting up. You're bleeding, Parrish pointed out, causing Scott to look down at his shirt where there was a spot of blood. It's not that bad, Scott reassured. Why are you here? He asked. I need your help Parrish said. With what Scott asked. With her, Parrish said, moving so that Lydia was visible where she stood catatonic with Evelyn's hand on her arm. I we found her out in the woods Parrish said. Her body was freezing. She was practically hypothermic, but that wasn't even the worst part. She'd scratched something into the rock next to her. It was a badge a sheriff's badge Parrish said. No, Scott said it's a warning. What kind of warning? Parrish asked. Stlinski, Evelyn whispered, focusing on something other than Lydia for the first time since she had found she was in trouble. He's in trouble, isn't he? Scott asked. We all are, Evelyn whispered. We need to get her to the hospital, and you need to patch things up with Stiles, Evelyn said. How do you know about that? Scott asked as Parrish grabbed Lydia. I know something's wrong because you're here and not with Stiles, and Stiles wasn't with you now. I'm going to stay with Lydia until I'm sure she's safe, then I'll go up to Stlinski's room, but Scott, you don't have a pack without Stiles. Whatever is going on between you two, fix it, listen to him.
Evelyn held Lydia's hand as she was wheeled back into the hospital. She was stopped at the door at the back of the hospital. You need to wake up, she whispered as she was pulled away. Parrish put a hand on her arm. She'll be okay, he said. Eventually, I'm sure she will, but right now, I have a feeling she has a dangerous road ahead of her, and I might not be able to protect her from all of it, Evelyn whispered. You really care for her Parrish said. I care for all of them, but my abilities work similarly to Lydia's, except instead of predicting death, I predict when someone close to me is in danger. That's why they call you the pack's protector, Parrish said. Yeah, it's how I found Lydia. If I concentrate, I can tell you where all of them are at any time. I should go check on Stlinski Evelyn said. I'll come with you Parrish told her. No, you stay with Lydia she said, walking toward the elevator. Call me if anything changes, she said, reaching the elevator as Stiles came rushing out looking for Lydia.
