Evelyn slipped into the animal clinic to find Scott Liam Mason and Theo already there listening to a voice-mail.  You pulled this off one of the bodies in the woods Theo asked. Malia did Liam said. Yeah there was six dead bodies one of them had no face Scott said. OK so the one with no face you think that's the woman on the phone Theo asked. Maybe Scott said. It's the same thing that happened to Aaron Mason said. It took over his body basically stole his face and DNA so that means whoever this woman is she could be the other half of the anuk-ite. OK so we find the woman on the phone Evelyn said. She's just half of the problem Theo said the other half we already know about Aaron. But we don't know where he is Liam said. OK hold on aren't we supposed to keep both halves apart Theo asked. If we know about one half let's just go for that one that's Aaron. I'm not agreeing with Theo but I do think it would be easier to track Aaron than a voice on a phone Mason said. You're agreeing with him Evelyn said but she added he does have a point. Is everyone completely shocked that I might be right Theo asked. No we just don't like it Liam said. Maybe we're all right Scott said maybe we should be looking for both Aaron and the woman on the phone. And since you guys agree. Wait Mason said you mean me and. Him Theo asked. Yeah you two find Aaron Scott said. Liam and I will try to figure out whose voice is on the phone. if we find either half maybe we don't have to fight at all Liam said. I'm going to help Malia and Lydia try and connect with halwyn Evelyn said turning and walking out keep us updated Scott shouted ditto Evelyn said.

So how is it going Evelyn asked Malia as she slipped into the morgue. Not well Lydia said. Sitting back up. How did it work last time Evelyn asked the last time I was unconscious Lydia said.  Unconscious OK we can work with that Malia muttered looking around. She walked over grabbing something from one of the tables. A hammer Evelyn asked. It'll be quick Malia said. Nope Lydia said. Malia hit the instrument on the side one of the exam tables. See It'll be quick she said. Nope Mmm-mmm not like that Lydia said. You want me to knock you out right Malia said. Render unconscious Lydia said preferably without pain she added walking over to Halwyn. OK this is what we're going to do the banshee said you're going to press against my chest hard constricting the flow of blood and oxygen to my brain. It'll drop my blood pressure and render me unconscious. That sounds totally unsafe Malia said. Oh extremely Evelyn said. Are you sure Malia asked. No Lydia said but let's go. Malia crossed over to Lydia pressing against the banshee's chest until she crumbled to the ground. Help me get her on the table Evelyn said picking Lydia up. Malia grabbed her feet they set her on her on the table next to halwyn. What now Malia asked. Now we wait for her to wake up Evelyn said she settled onto another exam table being used for storage. Lydia gasped awake moments later. He's not dead she said. Halwyn's not dead she said standing up Malia and Evelyn rushed over to help her. And I know how to save him she said.

Evelyn held open the door as Lydia and Malia wheeled Halwyn into the MRI room. Step one complete Lydia said as they got inside removing their masks. Now how do we turn this thing on Malia asked. We read the manual Lydia said holding up her phone to show the mri manual was pulled up. The three girls went into the control room Evelyn stood by the door as Lydia started to push buttons Malia looking over her shoulder. Evelyn looked back as the MRI began to hum. Look Lydia said pointing to something as Evelyn turned back to the door. See the image artifacting she asked. It means the bullet is ferromagnetic probably steel it'll probably react in the MRI. We'll increase the magnets power and the machine will pull the bullet right out. Ready Lydia asked it could get messy. I've seen messy go for it Malia said. We can't do this Lydia said after a minute. What's wrong Evelyn asked walking over. The bullet Lydia said it's not just steel see those fragments around it that's silver she said. The bullet was coated with it. Silver won't react in the MRI Evelyn said catching on. We pull that bullet out and he'll start to heal Lydia said looking back at Evelyn. Healing is good Malia said. But he's a hellhound Lydia said when he heals he's going to heat up. Melting the silver and poisoning himself Evelyn confirmed. So what's a little silver Malia asked. Argyria Lydia said silver poisoning. And we have no way of getting it out. So if we take out the bullets he dies again Malia said. And if we don't find out about the anuk-ite we could all die Evelyn said. Not liking these odds Malia said. There has to be another way Lydia said. Yeah if we had more time I'm sure we could figure something out but we don't Malia said. Someone is going to come through that door any second now and bust us. Our last shot at figuring out how to beat the anuk-ite might be lying on that table so we need to make a decision right now. You don't mean decide you mean do it Lydia said. Yeah I think it's the right decision Malia said if it were Parrish he would want us to he'd sacrifice himself for all of Beacon Hills. But Parrish could make that decision himself we don't know what halwyn would do Lydia said. Lydia I know it's not what you want to hear but I agree with Malia he built eichen freezing himself inside for a hundred years just so he could be there if it got out Evelyn said. The first thing he does when he gets out is start hunting the thing if that's all he's ever really cared about then he'd want us to do this Malia said. Lydia sighed walking over to the controls she turned up the magnet. The MRI hummed louder. Something's wrong Malia said after about 20 minutes. What is it Lydia asked. His heart beat Malia said it to fast and erratic. Suddenly Halwyn began seizing inside the mri. The machine began to beep turn it off turn it off Malia yelled. Evelyn rushed out the control room into the MRI. She heard halwyn roar then a sharp clanging sound and the lights went out as she pushed open the second door. Malia and Lydia were quick to follow her. Where is it halwyn growled. He started toward them but fell over crashing to the ground. Lydia and Malia help catch him and gently lower him down. What's happening he asked. The anuk-ite is destroying our city that's what's happening Malia said. And we need to tell you how to kill it. Malia Lydia called. Does it have any weakness the werecoyote asked. Is there a weapon that we can use. Malia Lydia said again. They looked up to see silver liquid coming out of halwyn's nose. Can you heal him Lydia asked. I've already tried Evelyn said as halwyn brought his fingers eye level to see what was wrong. What did you do to me he asked. What we had to Evelyn said what you would have done. Evelyn stiffened looking to the side a far away look taking over her face. What is it Malia asked. They found them Evelyn said the two halves they found the two halves. You revived me so I could die halwyn asked. No so you could help us which you need to do right now Malia said. Tell us how to stop it. You can't stop it halwyn said. You can't kill it. Nothing is unstoppable Evelyn said. You think just like the other fae halwyn said but it's true. You stopped it Lydia said. I trapped it halwyn said. Well how do we do that Malia asked. Don't let it find its other half halwyn said. How do we know it hasn't found it already Lydia asked. Because you wouldn't be alive to tell me halwyn said she'll know he said nodding to Evelyn. Keep them apart its still weak you can't let the two halves merge if you do you won't be able to catch it. Halwyn coughed groaning from the pain. We shouldn't have done this Lydia said I'm so sorry she said. No halwyn said you were right he muttered looking straight at Evelyn I would have done the same. Do this for me he gasped it finds its other half if the two become one do not look you can't look. It will kill you with a look he said before closing his eyes and slipping away. The three girls stood there looking at each other sad and afraid. We need to find Scott Malia said. The school Evelyn told her.

Let's split up Evelyn said as they reached the school remember if you hear something coming don't look until you're sure it's Scott or Liam. Malia and Lydia nodded before rushing into the building. She ran toward the back of the building while Lydia headed for the library and Malia for the classroom. Get down Evelyn shouted to a couple of hunters standing in the hall. She grabbed the youngest one named Gabe pulling him around the corner. What are you doing he shouted. You can't look at it if you do it'll kill you Lydia said running past. After a few minutes Evelyn let Gabe go coming around the corner to find Lydia and Liam. How do we fight something we can't look at Liam asked. I have no idea Lydia said. We have to learn to fight without our eyes Scott said walking up with Malia. Fight without seeing that means the werecoyote siad. Deucalion Evelyn said. Looking down at the two hunters turned to stone. Deucalion Lydia agreed.

Evelyn walked into the apartment to find a bag packed and set next to the door. You're back Argent said coming looking up from where he sat on the couch cleaning his gun. You're leaving she asked. I'm going to find Derek Argent said. Evelyn stiffened at the mention of the Hale. I don't want him here she said. I know Argent whispered standing up and walking over to her you want him far away safe. If he comes here Gerard will kill him Evelyn whispered. We need him Argent said. I know I just Evelyn said searching for the correct words. I know Argent said and if I believed we could win this without him I wouldn't be asking this of you but we need him. Evelyn nodded Brazil she whispered he's somewhere in Brazil from this far away I can't tell you anything more specific but he's in Brazil. Argent nodded grabbing his bag and walking out the door. Dad Evelyn shouted turning around. What Argent asked already halfway down the hall. Be careful Evelyn said.
