Chapter 54 - The Will Of Instinct (Part I)

Immediately I exited the diner tears began to flow freely out of my eyes.

Did Kurt really say all those things to me? Was I the one he said all those things to?

Did Kurt really think I was such a stupid and naive person?

And is he that blinded by jealousy that he thinks Izzy of all people has something for me.

Not to mention Kurt was a drug addict.

Was I wrong to talk for Kurt? He obviously had underlying trust issues and deep down aggression.

And what scared me most was that I still had feelings for Kurt after all these. He was still a victim of drug addiction and in need of help.

He needed me.

I heaved a huge sigh as I arrived at my brother's house. I really needed someone to talk to. I needed my brother.

But unfortunately, when I got home I found out that he wasn't present which was sad. I rang him up but got no reply which was quite unusual. Axl always replied me.

Oh well, maybe he was busy doing something. He could've been at the studio or something recording some harmonies.

In times like these, I was thankful to have another person who I could always run to in times of need.

And while Kurt wasn't his biggest fan, I didn't care. Cause I was his biggest fan.

"Hello beautiful" Izzy said in his usual warm and sweet voice.

"Hi Jeff. Are you at home?"

"Yep. Just here, enjoying some wine. You don't sound too fine. Is everything alright?" He asked in a worried tone.

"Jeff. Can I come over? I'm trying to get through to Axl but I've not been able to. And I really need to talk to someone" I cried.

"You're welcome anytime beautiful." Izzy said as a small smile appeared on my face.

"Thanks Jeff, you're the best" I said cheerfully as I hung up the phone and took in a deep breath. I was gonna be okay. Kurt was gonna be okay.

We were gonna be okay.

And if anyone could help Kurt it would actually be Izzy. Since he had gone through exactly what Kurt went through and he came out stronger.

Everything was gonna be fine.

But I would've never known how wrong I would end up being.

After a few hours of recording at the studio I decided to take a little break and get something to eat as well as get some smokes.

My girlfriend Stephanie was off touring as she was a model so I really only had my sister as well as a few other friends to hang out with.

And guess who I called first?

My sister.

But for some reason I couldn't get through to her so I just decided to buy her some food after I was done buying smokes.

"That'll be three fifty" The cashier informed me. I nodded and was about to pay when I caught a glimpse of a familiar hair of blond hair.

"Cobain?" I called out as he swiftly turned around. I made sure to take a note of his expression and I could tell exactly what was going on. "You're having a fight with Ashlyn"

"God am I that transparent?" Kurt mumbled as he paid for his own cigarettes. "Honestly, I don't know what to do Axl. It's just so much" Kurt sighed. "I'm guessing she hasn't told you yet"
