Chapter 10

'Wakey wakey' Luke said, pushing some hair out of my face and pressing his lips against my cheek.

I groaned, turning my head around so it wasn't facing Luke anymore.

'Come on V, we're going to that beach today. The one we picked out because walking along the beach was the first thing we did on our first road trip'

I smiled, remembering what he was talking about and opened my eyes.

'Alright, but I might throw up because I feel a little sick' I mumbled, sitting up straight and rubbing my eyes to try and wake myself up a little bit more.

Luke smiled, sitting down beside me.

'Well, it's 10AM and the guys will be here at 11 so you have an hour to throw up and get dressed' he said.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, and softly kissed the top of my head.

'Still can't really believe we're getting a little girl' he said.

I smiled and looked up at him.

'I know, what are we going to name her?'

'I don't know, how are we going to keep this a secret for the guys?' Luke said.

I grinned 'Well one of us is going to accidentally tell them at some point, I'm pretty sure of that'

'Yeah and it's probably going to be me so I'm sorry in advance'

'I forgive you' I smiled, pressing my lips against his cheek.

'I'm going to take a shower, I'll probably feel better after that' I said.

Luke nodded and went to open the door when someone knocked on it.

I could faintly hear Ashton talking to him as I took a shower and pulled my dress over my head, making sure that my belly really wasn't going to be showing.

It wasn't really all that big yet, most people would probably think I gained some weight but I didn't want to risk anyone thinking that I was pregnant, mostly because Luke wasn't ready to tell the fans yet.

I quickly brushed my hair and put some make up on before making my way out of the bathroom.

'Good morning' I said as I noticed Ashton was still in our room.

'Good morning,' he smiled 'I'm going to steal your shower for a bit because mine is broken' he explained.

I grinned and walked to our bag to put my stuff back in it.

'Go ahead, I'm done' I said.

After another hour of us waiting for Ashton to be done in the shower and having some breakfast, we arrived at Spencer Park and were walking along the beach.

We told the guys they didn't necessarily have to come with us because it probably wouldn't be very interesting to them but they wanted to come along anyway.

'So,' Calum said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder 'When are you going to tell us the gender?' he asked.

I looked at Luke who was grinning widely.

'When the baby is born' I said, making Calum groan.

'What if I buy you a life supply of gummy bears?' he tried.

'I'm not really liking gummy bears anymore' I laughed, looking at Michael and Ashton as they started throwing little stones at each other.

'That's a lie, you live for gummy bears'

'I haven't liked them ever since I got pregnant, but nice try though' I smiled as I walked back to Luke and took his hand in mine.

'I was going to safe you but I figured you could handle Calum on your own' he said.

I smiled and nodded 'Yeah, I can handle all of you don't worry'

Luke smiled, looking at the water.

It was laying completely still somehow and you could see the stones at the bottom.

'Awh look at that' I said, pointing at a little kid.

She was playing with the water, accidentally emptying her bucket of water on top of herself.

We both started laughing, trying to hide it when the little girls' mom came to comfort her.

'We are going to be the worst parents ever' Luke said.

I grinned 'definitely, maybe we should just give it up for adoption'

'Oh yeah, because we tried as hard as we did just so we could give the baby away and make someone else happy'

I smiled, resting my head against his shoulder.

'I don't think I ever said it because I know you don't want to hear me say it but I'm sorry' I said, squeezing his hand softly.

'Sorry for what?' he asked.

'Just for my body not functioning properly'

Luke sighed and stopped us from walking any further.

I looked at him as he took both of my hands in his and smiled.

'Do you honestly think I care about how hard we had to try to get a baby?' he asked.

'Because I don't know about you but I definitely didn't mind having that much sex'

I smiled, looking down at our hands.

Luke let go of my hands and pulled me in a hug.

'Honestly, it only makes it that much more special that you are pregnant now. We did it V, that's all that matters'
