I sighed, carefully turning around so that I was facing the bedroom door.
The guys had gone kitesurfing and I somehow got Luke to go as well.
He didn't remember much of the things I told him last night but he remembered the most important parts.
We had called a doctor but they just told us the same thing as a few days ago.
Which is why I had decided to stay behind while the guys went out and had some fun.
I couldn't help but be bored though since there was no TV in the bedroom and scrolling through twitter and Instagram for the last hour and a half was tiring me as well.
I laid down on my back, tapping my belly with my index and middle finger while staring at the ceiling.
'Now what?' I mumbled looking down at my belly.
'What are we going to do?'
I bit the inside of my cheek, as I looked around the room, hoping that there would be something to look at or something to do but there was nothing.
It was just a normal hotel bedroom with white walls, 2 nightstands on either side of the bed, another little cabinet across from the bed with a painting of a boat that was sailing through the ocean hanging right above it and a closet to put your clothes in.
I always wondered who even uses those.
Who bothers to unpack all their stuff just to pack it all over again a few days later?
I carefully got up of the bed and took the blankets in my arms, taking them with me as I made my way to the small couch that was placed right in front of a small TV.
Throwing the blankets on the couch, I grabbed one of the water bottles that the guys had bought the other day and grabbed the TV remote.
A sudden sting in the bottom of my abdomen, stopped me dead in my tracks as I put my hand on my stomach and hissed.
Waiting for it to leave, I tried my best not to panic.
This sting was worse than the other ones I had the last couple of days.
I took a deep breath and threw the TV remote on the couch.
Drinking some water from the bottle, I stayed standing until the pain slowly subsided.
Sighing, I walked back to the bedroom to get my phone that I forgot to take with me and sat down on the couch, hiding myself under the blankets.
I unlocked my phone to see Ashton had send me a video of Luke attempting to kitesurf.
"Just to let you know you're not missing out on anything cool and exciting :)" the caption read.
I grinned and put my phone away, leaning to the other side of the couch to get the remote, another sting stopped me from actually grabbing it as my hands immediately made their way to my belly.
My breathing and heartbeat heightened as I closed my eyes, trying to take slow and deep breaths.
The pain slowly subsided again as I took my phone, scrolling through my contact list with shaking hands.
I hated to do this but something was definitely wrong and I didn't want to be alone anymore.
Finding Luke's name and pressing the call button, I put my phone against my ear and nervously started pulling on my bottom lip.
After it rang a couple times, I got redirected to his voicemail and I sighed, hanging up the phone.
It tried calling again, tears slowly starting to fill my eyes.
I was scared, something was happening to my body and it was not supposed to happen. The baby was only 24 weeks old and the things I felt now definitely gave me the feeling I was slowly going into labor.
It terrified me and the fact that Luke wasn't here with me right now only made things worse.
Luke's phone went to voicemail again and I tried calling Ashton, seeing as he was the one that had been online 10 minutes ago but it went to voicemail too.
'Come on,' I mumbled, biting my lip and trying again.
'Please, please pick up'
His voicemail followed a few seconds later and I put my phone away again, closing my eyes and forcing myself to calm down.
'Everything's okay. They're not answering because they're in the water but everything's fine.' I told myself as I started drawing little circles on my baby bump.
'I just need to calm down and the pain will be less too'
Deep down I knew that was a lie but it was all I had for now.
If no one was there to calm me down I was going to have to do it myself.
'You can just try calling them again in half an hour and one of them will pick up' I said, taking another deep breath and slowly releasing the air from my lungs.
'You just have to stay calm and everything will turn out perfectly fine'
