Chapter 37

'Goodmorning!!' Michael yelled, rudely waking me up.

I squinted my eyes against the sun and groaned as I sat up straight, Luke still fast sleep beside me.

'Oh, that was easy' Michael grinned at me.

'I'll wake up Luke' I mumbled, waiting for him to leave.

I sighed and looked down at my belly.

My back still hurt but I guess that was considered normal.

'Luke?' I said, pushing against his shoulder.

'Wake up'

Luke groaned but his eyes stayed closed.

I smiled and bend down, a light stinging pain shooting through my stomach.

I frowned and sat back up, my hand automatically held onto my baby bump as my breathing slightly heightened.

Taking a deep breath, I waited a few more minutes before continuing to wake Luke up, making sure the pain wasn't coming back.

'Luke?' I said, pushing against his shoulder again, a little bit harder this time.

'Wake up sleepy head.'

Luke sighed and slowly opened his eyes, a small, lazy smile covering his face when he saw me.

'Good morning' I smiled, bending down to kiss him but changing my mind, afraid that my stomach would start hurting again.

'How'd you sleep?' Luke mumbled, his hand finding its way to my stomach to draw little circles on it.

'I slept alright' I replied, 'What about you?'

'Well, you know. I would've slept better if I could actually cuddled with my girlfriend without getting cold but...I slept okay'

I smiled and looked to my left to see the other guys were all busy looking for food in our bags.

'What are we going to do today?' I asked, right before another painful sting shot through my stomach, automatically making me sit up.

I hissed, my hands holding onto my stomach as I felt Luke sit up straight.

'What's wrong?' he asked, looking me up and down.

'I don't know' I mumbled, taking a deep breath as the pain slowly disappeared.

Luke looked at me worriedly, before looking behind me.

'Finally you're awake, are you guys coming? We scrambled our breakfast together' Michael smiled, before he saw the worried look on Luke's face.

'Is everything okay?' he asked.

I looked at him and nodded at the same time Luke shook his head.

'I'm okay. I don't know what happened but it's gone now' I said, looking at Luke.

The guys both looked at me worriedly but I just stood up and walked passed them to the other guys.

We ate our breakfast in silence for the most part.

I occasionally got worried looks shot at me from Michael and Luke.

The pain that shot through my stomach before didn't come back but the pain in my back didn't seem to leave.

'Okay, what's going on?' Ashton asked when he caught Luke staring at me again.

'Nothing's wrong. They're just overreacting' I replied.

'We're not overreacting you literally shot up because something hurt' Luke said.

'I did yes, but it's gone now. There's nothing to worry about'

I looked at all of the guys, making sure they knew I was fine.

'Alright, you know what helps?' Ashton said, smiling widely as he walked up to me.

'What?' I grinned, letting him take my hand and pull me up.

We were all sitting in a little circle and Ashton stopped walking right in the middle.

'Now lay down' he smiled.

I frowned and carefully laid down in the grass, my back feeling like it was going to split in half but I decided to ignore it. I didn't want them to worry even more.

Ashton motioned for the guys to come closer as he laid down on his stomach, his head resting in his hands and smiling widely.

He looked up at Luke and pointed at my stomach.

'After you sir. It's your baby,' he said. 'And also your girlfriend'

'What do you want me to do exactly?' Luke asked.

'Lift up her shirt' Ashton grinned.

Luke frowned and carefully lifted my shirt up until my baby bump was completely exposed.
