Chapter 11

'But wait, I feel like we need to figure out how long we're going to drive in one day because a 15 hour drive is very long' I said as Michael pulled the car on the highway.

'Yeah, but you're the only person in this car who can't drive so we can just switch every few hours' Calum said from the passenger seat.

'I know that but still, there's going to a 43 hour drive somewhere on this road trip and we can't drive that all at once'

'V is right though, how about we drive about 10 hours on one day, that way all of us will drive for 2 hours and the hours that are left will be driven by the person who feels the most awake' Ashton suggested.

'Except for today because we'll be on this road until we reach the Gold Coast' Calum said.

'Alright, but let's just make sure we switch every 2 hours or so,' Ashton said

'I know we'll all feel like we can drive longer than that but we don't want to cause any accidents or anything'

Everyone agreed and we fell in a comfortable silence for a whole 3 seconds.

'Have you thought about when you're going to tell the fans yet?' Calum suddenly asked.

I looked at Luke who shook his head.

'I mean I've thought about it, we just haven't really talked about it'

'We should tell them in a really cute way' I said.

Luke smiled.

'What did you have in mind?' he asked.

'Nothing yet, I just feel like when we tell them it should make everyone say "aw" out loud'

'It's going to be cute no matter how you tell them. Unless you allow Luke to just tweet: "I got my girlfriend pregnant" because I'm sure half the fans will think it's a joke then'

I grinned 'He already did that once, no one will believe him if he'd do that again'

'What are you waiting for though?' Michael asked.

I looked at Luke who shrugged and looked at his hands.

'Nothing really,' he said 'I just want to enjoy seeing my girlfriend pregnant without everyone knowing. We'll tell them soon, I just don't know when'

I smiled 'Probably as soon as people are starting to get suspicious and I can't hide it any longer. I'm already having trouble hiding it now'

'I don't see anything' Calum said, looking at my belly.

'Me neither' Ashton said.

'Well then I did my job right' I said, leaning my head against Luke's shoulder.

'Do you feel it kicking yet?' Ashton asked.

'I feel it from the inside yeah but you can't feel it from the outside yet' I smiled, unconsciously placing my hand on my belly.

'I want to feel it when you do' Calum said

'You'll get to feel it don't worry,' I grinned 'We still have 5 more months to go so you'll get to feel it at some point'

'Fuck yeah' he said, making all of us smile.

'Hey do we have that map somewhere?' I asked.

Calum nodded and grabbed the map, handing it to me.

'Do we also have a marker somewhere? Or a pen, just something I can write with'

A pen was thrown at me a few seconds later, I grinned and opened the map.

'What are you going to do?' Ashton asked.

'Cross of Sydney because we've been there' I replied.

He nodded and watched as I looked for Sydney and put a cross through it.

I looked at the map and smiled, suddenly getting an idea.

'You know what we should have?' I said, folding the map back up and throwing the pen against Calum's head.

'What?' Luke asked.

'We should have this really big map of the world and hang it up on the wall and like, mark the places we've been too, like everything. We should mark our road trip through New Zealand and every place you guys have been to on tour'

'That's a lot of places' Michael said.

'Yeah I know, but that's what makes it cool, you only realize how much of the world you've seen when you see it like that'

'That's actually a really good idea, but then it's just a map of the places I've been to with them, not with you'

'We can make them different colors. We'll make the places we went to together purple, the places you went to with them red and the places we were all together green or something' I said.
