'V?' I heard someone whisper beside me, a hand was placed on my shoulder as it softly shook me around. 'Wake up V.'
I frowned and opened my eyes when I found Luke standing beside the bed.
Memories of a few hours before rushed through my mind and I looked around, noticing that I was still in Ashton's room.
I sat up straight, struggling to keep my eyes open as Luke sat down beside me.
A letter was in his hands and he handed it to me so that I could read it.
So, let's just say you guys fucked up and this is your chance to make it right.
In Ashton's room, you'll find 5 envelopes with numbers on them.(Also, you will find your girlfriend there Luke) Go get dressed and take a cab to the Queen Victoria Market.
Once there, open the first envelope and do what it says, when finished open the second one and so on.
What you need is some time for just the two of you, you need to remember what it was that you liked about each other when you met, you need to remember why V chose to come to Australia instead of staying in New Zealand and you need to just be together.
We'll be off doing our own thing (which is probably sleep because we've been up since 6 to arrange all of this...so you better appreciate it...do you know how hard it is to find a pen and envelopes and paper when basically all the stores are closed?)
Anyway, go do your thing. Have fun.
And remember, step 1 can only be opened once you have arrived at the Queen Victoria Market.
OH! And take the bag we left in the corner by the door, you might need it.
I looked at Luke, a small smile on my face.
'I guess we really did fuck up didn't we?' he asked.
I nodded, looking at the letter 'Yeah...we did'
Luke nodded as well before getting up.
'Alright, there was a little note with that letter saying that I had to call a cab, take your clothes and wake you up, in that exact order. So the cab will be here in 15 minutes and here are your clothes' he said as I slowly dragged my body out of bed. 'Oh, and I brought this because I figured you'd want to go back for it otherwise' I walked up to him and he handed me my clothes and my little makeup bag.
'Thanks' I said and quickly walked inside the bathroom.
I changed into my clothes and looked in the mirror, actually getting a little scared when I saw how blood-shot my eyes were and how big the bags were underneath them.
I put on some mascara and eyeliner, hoping that it would somehow hide it a little bit, I put my hair in a ponytail and walked out of the bathroom.
'You ready?' Luke asked.
I nodded, deciding to just leave all my stuff here for now.
Luke grabbed the envelopes and dropped them in the bag the guys left by the door and we walked out of the room.
Surprisingly, the cab was already waiting for us when we walked out of the hotel and we quickly got in, telling the driver where we had to go.
I looked out of the window, seeing the sun pretty high up in the sky already.
'What time is it?' I asked, looking at Luke.
'11:30am' Luke replied, 'Ashton accidentally woke me up when he came to drop off the letter. I asked him where you were because you were not in bed beside me and he told me you were in his bed and that I had to let you sleep until 11'
'Why?' I frowned.
'I don't know, but I was too tired to even ask why you were sleeping in his bed so asking him why I should let you sleep an hour longer definitely didn't cross my mind,' Luke said, looking at my face.
'Though I'm pretty sure we both know why he told me to let you sleep a little longer' he said, his thumb softly tracing the skin around my eye.
I looked down at my hands as Luke's hand slipped off my face again.
'Yeah, I have a pretty good idea why he told you that' I said.
I could feel Luke's eyes on me but I didn't look up, afraid that he was going to ask about it and I had to explain how I had had a mental breakdown and woke up his best friend to help me out instead of him.
The car came to a halt and the driver announced we had arrived at the QueenVictoria Market.
Luke paid the driver and we quickly got out.
'Alright,' Luke sighed, looking for the right envelope 'let's see what we have to do first'
