'You guys are so adorable it's almost disgusting' Calum groaned, leaning his head against the window.
We had been driving for about 10 hours, meaning we had 5 more hours to go until we reached Gold Coast.
'It almost makes me want to throw up' Michael added from the passenger seat.
I smiled, continuing to draw small circles on Luke's arm.
After 8 hours of us sitting beside each other, we were completely tangled up.
My right leg was laying over both his legs while my left leg was under his.
Luke had both his legs pulled up and his one hand was resting on my belly, softly drawing circles while his other hand was wrapped around my shoulders. Making it possible for me to rest my head against his shoulder and somehow be comfortable.
We had been ignoring all the comments from the other guys for about an hour, quietly having our own conversation.
'I really don't get it' Luke mumbled.
'I don't either, google it maybe you'll get an answer' I grinned.
'But then I have to move and we won't be comfy anymore'
'Right, let's just wait 5 more hours than'
Luke nodded, resting his head on top of mine.
'It just doesn't make any sense'
'I know it doesn't, it also doesn't make sense that you thought about this so suddenly'
'I never make any sense, but guess what'
'What?'
'That's why you love me'
I laughed, pressing a kiss against his jaw.
'Right, that must be it.'
Luke nodded 'Yeah it must be. I mean it's definitely not because of my super hot stubble or because of my terrific personality'
I smiled 'No it's definitely not that because your personality isn't terrific, it's horrific'
Luke laughed 'What about your personality then. There's nothing good about that either'
'But at least it's not horrific' I said, biting my lip to keep myself from bursting into laughter.
'It's worse'
'No it's not, you were wondering why they put holes in crackers' I laughed, bringing the conversation back to where it originally started.
'Well don't you want to know why they do that? It doesn't make sense. It's not like it's suddenly going to taste bad without the holes'
'Maybe it does, but you'll never know because there's not a single pack of crackers to get without holes in it'
'What do I get if I find crackers without holes?'
'If you find crackers without holes in it, I'll personally buy half a watermelon and wear it as a hat for the rest of the day'
Luke laughed 'I'm definitely going to find those crackers now'
I looked over at Calum who was looking at us, grinning widely.
'Now I want to know it too' he said, pulling his phone out of his pocket.
'How did you even come up with this question?' I asked 'I've never even seen you eat a cracker, I'm surprised you know what they look like'
Luke smiled 'I know, this guy right here with the horrific personality turns out to actually have a brain. Plot twist'
I laughed.
'I've got it' Calum said.
'This says that without the holes, the crackers wouldn't bake correctly. The holes allow the steam to escape during the cooking and that way the crackers stay flat and become crispy'
'We learn something new every day' Ashton grinned.
'Yeah, I'm going to quiz you about it tomorrow so you better remember what I just told you' Calum said.
'I should start studying then, I really don't want to fail this' Ashton grinned.
'Yeah, you'll get kicked out of the cracker squad if you don't pass this test, meaning you'll have to walk back to Sydney because we can't deal with any cracker haters'
