Lucien feels lively when he stepped out of his car. Carrying a large bouquet of red and white flowers. He took big steps when he entered the house and immediately his eyes searched for the woman he loved the most.

"Baby?" he called. His voice echoed around the whole area as he went to the wide, fiber glass stair case, he stopped on his tracks. When his eyes fell on the woman wearing a powder blue maxi dress. With the group of men sitting quietly on the mustard couch, across her. She is quiet as if she is in deep thought about something.

“Baby! You're here! ” Lucien greeted Vlad warmly but she didn't budge. She remained leaning on the backrest of the couch as if she heard didn't heard him.

Lucien's forehead furrowed slightly in astonishment. Is heart began to pound  heavily.

He knew when Vladimyr is acting different, something is really off. It means something that she found out that angered her and trying to suppress it to keep the calm posture.

Lucien secretly swallowed. He didn’t know what to do because even he, was nervous. For some unknown reason, something suddenly entered his mind about the secret he was keeping from Vlad.

Immense anxiety immediately engulfed his heart as he tried to dispel such thoughts. Even though he knew to himself that the time would come when everything would be revealed to Vlad as well.

Lucien secretly drew courage after Vlad did not move. He encouraged himself and the sweet smile he was trying to keep on his lips. Before finally approaching Vladimyr to greet and give her a kiss on the lips as he used to do every time he came home.

“My love—” he greeted bravely but he was stunned when he heard the faint sound from the cackling gun.

“B-baby? ...” he stuttered. He looked at Vladimyr with confused and slightly frightened eyes.

"Who are you?" Vlad asked pointing her gun’s nuzzle towards Lucien. Her eyes were frigid and dark.

Lucien's jaw almost dropped after hearing those questions from Vladimyr. His mouth twitched slightly and his tongue seemed to recede as he tried to figure out the right word to start explaining it.

But Lucien knew that no matter what he said, those words would never make Vladimyr feel better. As clear as a day he knew she's furious, and he have to admit everything rather than deny it. He has to be honest to her and face her wrath than cover it with another lies.

"I-I'm .... I'm Lucien Ezquillon ... I'm Luvien's older twin brother."
Lucien barely uttered those words in response. As if something is clogging in his throat.

Immediately, tears fell on his cheeks as he looked at Vladimyr, asking for her understanding. But he also immediately looked down because he knew there’s no forgiveness for deceiving her in such a long time.

"Twin..." Vlad uttered. Keeping her expressionless eyes and the gun to his direction.

There was a glint of shock in Vladimyr's eyes but she immediately hid it as well.

"I-I'm older that him ... A-and we didn't grow up together."

"I didn't even know he had twin... During the year we were in a relationship, he didn't even tell me he had a twin brother."

“I’m sorry baby—”

"Tell me why did you ... Pretend to be him?"

“It was a misunderstanding. I thought ... I thought you were the reason why ... Why he had a heart attack. And I was angry so I planned to avenge him. I wanted to destroy you.” He explained.

Vlad’s right brow twitched.
She doesn’t even know about Luvien’s
condition. He doesn't say anything to her about the sickness.

"He has a heart disease ..."

"What have I got to do with his illness?"

“Listen baby I don’t mean to fool you. I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to lie. Believe it. At first I wanted to retaliate against you because I thought you were the reason but many things happened that revealed in my eyes that you are innocent. That you know nothing of what is going on and you are a good person. Please ... Please believe me. I love you so much. ” Lucien begged at Vladimyr, trying to get closer to her but a sudden gunshots echoes the whole living room and a surprised gasp was heard behind him.

Lucien automatically turned around and immediately. His eyes widened  when he saw to whom Vladimyr's gun was pointed.

"Vlad no!" He screams in panic. Not knowing what to do, he exchanged his gaze to Vlad and the person who's now in the brink of death. Jasper.

Lucien saw a mix of shock and apprehension in Casper's eyes as he stared at the gun pointed at his direction.

"M-ma'am Vladimyr ... What's the matter?" Jasper made a step back. Looking at Vladimyr with shocked face. His eyes filled with fear.

"Jasper!" Lucien called.

"B-boss?"

“Vlad please don’t! You're mad at me, just shoot me instead, not him! ” Lucien almost plead looking at the woman with dark, infuriating stare.

A deafening silence enveloped the space between Lucien and Vladimyr. Not even one of them dared break that silence.

Vlad was furious of what he did.

"You dare.... To deceive me..."

Vladimyr forced herself to hold back the trembling of her hand. Holding the gun, aimed at the man she thought was the man she loved but turned out he’s not. It turned out to be an impostor. That's why he changed so much from the beginning. That's because he's actually been with someone else for over a year.

Her heart is revolting now. She wanted to hack the man's body with a bullet because of his deception. But she couldn't. She's furious.

Vladimyr secretly took a deep breath. She wanted to suppress her rage. She felt her heartbeat slowly stopping. After hearing what this man in frontof her just said. But she didn't want to show how much she was hurting right at this moment and her chest is revolting.

She tries to fight the tears struggling to escaped from her eyes.

“How stupid am I to believe all your lies...”
