Leo was . . . nervous, to say the least. It wasn't that he hadn't been over to Nico's place before, of course he had, time and time again. But this time was different. This time, he knew Nico was going to be regressed. Which also wasn't a bad thing, but whenever Nico was small, Leo began to feel all fuzzy too.

"You look nervous," Piper said as they walked up to the door. "You doing okay?"

"Nervous," Leo shrugged.

"About?"

Leo rolled his eyes with a scoff, jokingly nudging Piepr's shoulder, "Wouldn't you like to know."

"Ouch! And this is what I get for trying to help you out," Piper pouted, but brushed it off. "You need to leave whenever, you can. Will trusted us with babysitting, but I can handle it if you'd like."

No, Leo didn't want that. Sure, he felt strangely fuzzy and tiny around regression items. But he promised Will that Piper and him would hang out with Nico while he was regressed. And he wanted to hang out with his friend.

"Are you calling me a chicken?" Leo gave her a fake glare.

Piper smirked, "If the boot fits."

Before leo could make a comeback, Piper sprinted off, knocking before practically throwing open the door with the spare key Will gave them.

"Hey Neeks!" Piper smiled, trying to shut the door on Leo. "Uh, sorry about the loud interruption."

But Nico didn't look to phased by someone bursting into his house, "Herd you outside . . . Your loud."

Piper would have replied, but Leo stumbled through and glared at her.

The room was nice, it almost looked like nothing was altered except for a blanket on the ground, which had Nico's bunny stuffie and some coloring books and paper.

Nico also seemed nervous. Perhaps he was trying to downplay it, with how he 'insulted' Piper and Leo, but Piper could see how tense he was. It was difficult being small around new people, she couldn't judge him.

"Sooooo, what we do?" Nico asked, fiddling with his shirt.

Piper walked towards the coloring books, grabbing one, "How about we start with some coloring?"

Coloring was nice, very nice.

It made Nico happy, since he got to scribble some drawing on a paper. But it also made Leo less nervous. And Piper? She kinda just watched, maybe trying to draw on Leo's paper every so often as a joke.

"What's Bunny's name?" Leo asked, pointing to the plushie in Nico's arms. He didn't like how soft his voice felt, or how Piper defiently noticed. "Or, your stuffie's name?"

"Lola," Nico said, pausing his coloring. "You wanna hold her?"

Leo excitendly nodded, almost snattching the rabbit plush as Nico handed it to him, "She's so soft!"

Nico smiled at Leo's giggling, looking at Piper happily. Piper gave a smile and thumbs up back.

Piper could just tell that Leo was also feeling small. Was that why he was so nervous? Maybe. Did he know he was feeling small? She didn't know.

But the reaction to the stuffie, and his picture said a lot. Leo wasn't exactly a perfectionist, but he usually colored in the lines. Whether he was just letting loose, or feeling little, Piper didn't know.

Leo tried to hand the stuffie back, but Nico shook his head, "You pay wif her. She likes you."

"Really!" Leo gasped, hugging the stuffie closely. "I like Lola too! Thanks Nico!"

Piper smiled at the two, it was nice seeing them getting along. But then she looked at the blanket . . . There were a lot of blankets in the room . . . And a good couple of support beams.

"You know what, there's actually a problem," Piper sighed, putting her hands on her hips as she stood up. "A very big problem."

Both Nico and Leo looked at each other, confused, and a little scared.

"You have multiple beds and blankets!" Piper exclaimed. "And yet I see no fort being built!"

"Fort?" Leo gasped, looking at Nico excited. "Neeks, can we build fort? Pease!"

Nico also looked excited, "Fort!"

"Just what I thought! Come on, let's range up all the blankets," Piper smiled, ushering them up. She wasn't sure how much help Nico would be, or how destructive Leo would be, but making forts was fun! And what was better than a little bit of fun?
