Sevyn and Von hung around the same people but did not like each other. But they were just cordial. Until Von's birthday came up and Sevyn was the only friend of his that remembered.

Sevyn POV
Los Angeles, California August 10th Monday, 7:45 a.m.
I got my bag throwing my charger inside and putting my Beats over my head.
"Nana im about to catch the bus." I said getting my keys out of the bowl.
"Without eating?" My nana said coming out of the kitchen standing in the doorway stirring her key.
"I'm gonna get a bacon egg and cheese from the corner store." I said and she nodded.
"Okay. I'll send you money for it. I love you Sevyn." She said.
"I love you too." I said going out the door.
I turned my music on listening to BEAUTIFUL by DJ Khaled ft Future and SZA.
I know it's not good but i listen to my music loud as hell when I'm outside. But I am paying attention. I just like to be outside and feel like I'm in an edit. And I can't feel like that when my music is low. I need it BLASTING.
I never go to school with my other friends because they show up late. And I come a little early. To walk around and say good morning to my teachers and sit in the main office and prep for my classes.
I waited for the bus while I tracked the bus and played games on my phone. When the bus came I was the first to get on. And I went all the way to the back since it was empty. I turned off my phone to save up the battery and looked out the window listening to music.
8 MINUTES LATER, I got off the bus. My bus goes right past the corner of my school. So it's perfect and drops me off right at the corner of my school. When I got off the bus I went down the opposite way and walked to the corner store. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese and a sweet tea Arizona. And a couple of snacks for throughout the school day.
I put everything in my purse and got my school ID out. They scan it when you go inside to see if you are late. You aren't late till 8:15.
I went inside and greeted everyone and went around the school saying good morning to all my teachers and I went to my first period and sat down. I went on my laptop and started doing my first period work early so I can just relax for the rest of the period.
I ate while I worked and then I felt my phone vibrate.

von👹: wya ma lemme talk to u
sevyn🌺: why ?
von👹: jus come hea sevyn
sevyn🌺: you have to come to me. im not coming to you

In less than 2 minutes Von texted me. So I asked my teacher if I could use the bathroom and I stepped out.
"What?" I asked.
"Why you gotta attitude?" Von said.
"I do not have an attitude Dayvon." I said.
"Why you callin me by my government and shit? You'on like that I'm wit anotha girl?" He asked and I threw my head back just feeling annoyed with his entire presence at this point.
"You want me to say I'm jealous of her and I want you to be with me so bad. And I'm really not doing that Von. Even if it were true I'm not doing it. Go be with her. You don't even know me. You JUST started being nice to me yesterday." I said.
"Cmon ma. Don't be like that." He said grabbing my hand and i pulled it away.
"I'll tell you what you're about to do. You're about to piss me off. I'm not jealous you're with another girl. I wholeheartedly do not care. Not in the slightest. But I want you to stop trying to play with me and keep her. It's not going like that." I said shaking my head and he just store at me and licked his bottom lip slightly.
And now I'm seeing his whole outfit. He has on a black sweater with words in a bright yellow across it that said OFF-WHITE. Some black jeans that were a little tight on him but he always wears pants that are tight on him. And the black and yellow Jordan 4's I just bought him. And a black fitted cap that was backwards. I'm so irritated he looks good right now.
"Why you starin at me like tha if you mad?" He said looking me up and down and i rolled my eyes.
"Please Von. I'm going back to class." I said about to turn around but he grabbed my hand.
"Can I talk to you after school?" He asked.
"I'm busy." I said and he scrunched up his face.
"Wit what? What nigga you bein wit?" He asked and i rolled my eyes.
"I'm not a hoe like you. I'm getting my hair done and I'm going to work." I said.
"Imma jus follow yo ass you might as well say I ca go now." He said and i rolled my eyes.
"I don't think you need to go because we have nothing to talk about." I said.
"Okay. I just wanna be around you lil folks. You gone make me say it?" He said.
"Why don't you want to be around your girlfriend?" I asked tilting my head and he threw his head back.
"I'm coming with you. Now take yo bald head ah ta class." He said making me look down and chuckle.
"Bye Von." I said.
"You're gonna talk ta me again today. Rememba? You the only one I'm talkin to today." He said.
"Fine only because I don't wanna leave the bow legged little boy alone with no friends." I said opening the class door and his eyes went wide and I laughed.
