Sevyn and Von hung around the same people but did not like each other. But they were just cordial. Until Von's birthday came up and Sevyn was the only friend of his that remembered.

Sevyn POV
Los Angeles, California August 10th Monday, 3:16 p.m.
I just left and started walking down the block waiting on my Uber.
"Sevyn. Slow yo ass down." Von said trying to catch up with me and i rolled my eyes upon seeing him.
"I'm going to get my hair done Von." I said.
"I'm coming wit you. Didn't I say that already?" He said standing next to me.
When the Uber came we got in and got driven to my hair stylist. I texted her ahead of time and said my friend was coming and she said it was okay. I just wanted to check in because I normally never bring anyone with me. And if she didn't want to let him in Von would be sitting himself right outside.
When we got there she buzzed us up and we went up to the room and I had Von sit down towards the side holding my stuff.
I started talking with my hairstylist Aria. She was telling me drama going in her life and I was giving my advice. Her being delusional over her man. And I'm encouraging the delusions.
She did my wig and I got this done.

I normally try different and bright colors. My nana always suggests them. She likes to see me in different colors and things. She finished up and gave me a mirror and as soon as I saw myself and how good I looked with the color I smiled. And ran my fingers through my hair.
"Oh my god." I said looking at myself.
"You like it? I love this color on you." Aria said combing the back of my head and i nodded.
"Yes I love it. Yes. Girl take this money." I said taking my purse from Von and he finally looked up at me. When he heard me and Aria talking about nothing when she first started he just went on his phone and never looked back up.
Dayvon POV
When I looked up and saw Sevyn I was just stuck staring at her. I watched her go in her bag and give the money to her hair stylist and she motioned me to get up and I just did what she said because she looks so damn good. Like Sevyn is really beautiful.
We left and started walking and I couldn't keep my eyes off her.
"What?" Sevyn said looking at me.
"You look good as hell ma." I said looking at her and she laughed.
"Are you gonna leave now?" She asked as we waited for the bus and i looked at her.
"Now you treatin' me like i always treated you. You tryna be funny?" I said and she rolled her eyes.
"I just think you should be spending this same time with your girlfriend. Asian. I know she misses you." She said going on her phone and i sighed.
"Don't worry about ha—"
"I'm not worried about her. I'm just saying. I wouldn't want my boyfriend doing this." She said.
"If i was yo man I would neva—"
"You'll never find yourself in that position. So don't worry about it." She said quickly and I looked down and laughed.
I didn't even know Sevyn could get smart like that. I've never even seen her argue with someone. Let alone have a smart ass mouth.
"I'mma ignore you being a smart ass." I said making her laugh.
"Okay I'm going to stop. How was your day?" She asked turning off her phone and giving me her attention. That is the Sevyn I missed.
The refreshing ass questions she asks.
"My day was good. It was weird not talking to everyone tho." I said and she nodded.
"I still think you should ask them about it. Maybe it was an honest mistake." She said and I immediately shook my head.
"If niggas forgot they just forgot. I'm not asking them about shit. You shoulda remembered." I said.
"What did you say to your mom when you came in the house? Didn't she forget too?" She asked.
"When I came in the house with the bags of stuff you bought me. She looked at the bags and she remembered. And she gave me some money. But I just put it in my drawer. I'll use that shit anotha day. Cause how da hell you forget my birthday too." I said.
"How do you really feel about everyone in your life now? Because I know things like this tend to change people's perspective on the people around them." She said and I took a deep breath.
Talking to ha be feeling like therapy and shit.
"I mean...ion really think nothin of it. I just think nobody really my friend fa real. Cause all damn day? It wasn't like I didn't say anything about it. I posted the lil birthday countdown on my story. Like niggas aint use they head?" I said making her laugh.
"Now I don't know if it was a honest mistake anymore." She said making me laugh too.
"But nah the only real person I got around me is yo big headed ass." I said looking the other way and she hit my leg as the bus pulled up.
I held her hand as she stepped in and we sat in the back.
"Why do you wanna keep following me around Von?" She asked looking at me.
"Ion know. You refreshing ma. I be around bullshit. Just let me enjoy it fa a lil bit." I said looking out the window.
