Sevyn and Von hung around the same people but did not like each other. But they were just cordial. Until Von's birthday came up and Sevyn was the only friend of his that remembered.

Sevyn POV
Los Angeles, California August 11th Tuesday, 4:32 p.m.
When I got home I was annoyed at the previous situation. But im glad i kept my calm. Fighting is just not me. I think it's so ugly now.
When I got in i put my keys in the bowl and i decided to call my nana just to vent.
"Hello? What's wrong baby?" My nana immediately said upon answering the phone.
"Nana let me tell you what just happened." I said.
"What happened?" She said setting her phone up on her desk and i went to my bedroom.
"I was coming out of the school about to catch my bus. And who do i see? Von and Asian. I crossed the street because nana...me and Von kissed." I said and immediately covered my mouth.
"I know baby. He told me on his birthday. It's okay." She said laughing and i laughed.
"I just feel so bad because that's wrong. Kissing another girls boyfriend. That's so nasty." I said.
"You didn't mean to. Don't beat yourself up about that Sevyn." She said.
"It's too late. Von kissed me again yesterday. Seeing her today. I wanted to throw up. I felt so disgusted of myself." I said shaking my head.
"I think Von likes you Sevyn." She said.
"But he has a girlfriend. How can he like me when he has a girlfriend? How can he in good conscience kiss me and like me when he has a girlfriend. That's wrong. I don't want any parts of it. How you get them is exactly how you lose them and karma is real." I said and she softly laughed.
"You are your grandmothers baby." She said.
"Anyway. I crossed the street just to avoid seeing him and her because i felt bad. And then Asian called me. I mean YELLED my name across the street nana. So i went over there and she was acting all casual at first. How are you, i like your hair. And then she asked me why i was letting Von in the house." I said.
"Why the fuck is she asking you and not Von?" My nana said immediately sitting up.
"She started questioning me. I wasn't saying anything. Because...ask Von. But then she grabbed me nana." I said.
"She touched you? And what the fuck did you do?" She said.
"I told her don't touch me and Von pushed her away from me." I explained.
"Next time i want you to show her dumb ass something. She gone stop playing with my fucking baby. Next time knock her fucking head off her shoulders. Dont let her try you." She said and I couldn't help but laugh a little.
