June 5th
Tuesday, 7:14 P.M.
When me and Dayvon finally got there he parked and got out first. He held my hand as I stepped out.
"SEVYN!!!" I heard Amiri instantly yell and I laughed and looked up seeing Amiri in her light blue long tight dress and i smiled.
"Oh my God!" I screamed hugging her.
"Bitch wait till you see Nala and her nigga. I was like oh wow." Amiri said.
"What does he look like? Is he cute?" I said with a raised eyebrow and I felt a hand go upside my head making me laugh.
"I didn't mean it like that baby." I said and he rolled his eyes looking the other way.
"Oh no. He's ugly. I see why she kept him a secret for so long." Amiri said making me laugh.
"Now i need to see just how ugly." I said we were going on. But me and Dayvon took more pictures and tiktoks and then went inside and found our seats.
"Do you think im going to win prom queen?" I asked Dayvon.
"Ion see how another bitch in here could." He said.
"I'm nervous. What if i do win prom queen and i have to go on the stage in front of everyone?" I said gripping his shirt and he laughed and grabbed my hands.
"Don't be snatchin me up. And it's gone be fine ma. I'll go witchu if you that scared." He said and i kissed his cheek.
"I can't wait fa the Airbnb after ma." Dayvon said.
"Oh...did i tell you I wasn't going to that?" I said scratching my head.
"Who not goin? You is goin." He said.
"Dayvon. After doing all this I don't know if I really feel like going to a Airbnb to be around our drunk ass friends drinking and smoking weed. I think im in the mood to just lay down at that point." I said shaking my head.
"Sevynnnnn." He whined and I rolled my eyes.
"Didnt we miss the toast off because of you?" I said snatching my hands away and folding my arms.
"We missed the toast off because I wouldn't have seen the next damn day." He said.
"Oh brother. Dayvon-"
"Baby please. Watch you can go up to our room. Shower n shit. And when you text me to come up, imma come. No questions asked." He said and I sighed.
"And hear everyone else downstairs having fun? Absolutely not." I said shaking my head and he groaned.
"Please ma. Please. Imma come upstairs and eat it...from the back." He said getting close to my lips and I tilted my head.
"Eh. Your heads not that good." I lied rolling my eyes and he put his hand on his chest looking almost offended making me break character and just laugh.
"Oh helllllll no. Hell no Sevyn. Look me in my eyes wit a straight face and say my head not good." He said getting close to my face and I laughed.
"Listen I'm just—"
"No. Do my shit first. My head not good ma?" He said and I deeply sighed.
"Alright I was lying. I was just saying I don't want to be upstairs while everyone else is downstairs having fun knowing I don't want to go." I said rolling my eyes.
"Please ma. Tomorrow morning I'll take you wherever you wanna go." He said pulling my arms and I rolled my eyes.
"But you didn't—"
"That toast off is old news ma. Don't start." He said and I laughed because this is EXACTLY what I was about to say.
"Fine baby. But we're going to be late because I have to pack. AND im taking my time." I said rolling my eyes again.
"You gone be wasting your head time." He said shrugging.
"Oh no I was getting that no matter what was going on in the house." I said rolling my eyes and he laughed.
I went around the whole room talking to everyone and taking pictures and what not. And then our principal got on the mic about to announce the prom king and queen.
I went next to Dayvon because I was tired of talking to everyone else anyway.
"Prom queen is.........Sevyn." He announced and everyone started clapping.
"YES BITCH! GO HEAD FRIEND!" Amiri said standing up making me laugh. I got up and Dayvon walked with me holding my hand as I went up the stairs.
"You want me to come with you?" Dayvon asked and i quickly nodding keeping my grip on his hand and he came up with me.
The principal put the crown on my head that was quite big and heavy actually.
"Thank you." I said on the mic and about to walk away but the principal stopped me.
"It's kind of a speech thing." He said leading me back to the mic and Dayvon stood close behind me.
"Ummm. I appreciate everyone who voted for me. Thank you. You guys know I'm not good for...public speaking. But I appreciate everyone in here. Every girl in here is beautiful, every boy in here is handsome. I hope you all succeed in life and be happy. Thank you." I said blowing kisses and everyone clapped and Dayvon wrapped his arms around my back leading me off the stage.
Dayvon POV
A part of me loves Sevyn because we are such opposites. She is so sweet and I like how different we is. She challenges my brain and what I think since she has such a different view.
That speech was so her. Wishing good on everyone.
My bitch better than EVERYBODY.
