Sevyn and Von hung around the same people but did not like each other. But they were just cordial. Until Von's birthday came up and Sevyn was the only friend of his that remembered.

Sevyn POV
Los Angeles, California August 14th Saturday, 5:12 p.m.
I got off at 5 but I just cleaned up the cafe and that took me a while. So I clocked out late.
I clocked out and as I was getting my things from my locker my coworker Remy came up to me.
"That cute boy from last week is at the front asking for you. Girl. What's his name? Can you put me on?" She said pulling my arm.
"Von. Yeah. I'll put in a good word." I said putting my bag over my shoulder.
I went to the front and saw Dayvon sitting down in one of the reading areas and I threw my head back annoyed.
I have my phone on me, he hasn't texted me all day. And now you just wanna show up at my job like everything is just fine.
When he saw me he put his phone in his pocket and got up coming to me.
"What?" I said.
"Whatchu got a attitude fa?" He said.
"You haven't-I'm done talking actually." I said shrugging and starting to walk. But Von grabbed my arm pulling me back.
"What folks? I ain't done?" He said.
"You haven't texted me all day. And now you just show up after my shift. Please Von." I said rolling my eyes.
"Yeah and yo ass was posed to get off at 5 why the fuck you ain't come from the back till 5:15." He said and I let out a big breath.
"Fuck you huffin and puffin fa?" He said.
"Because you keep cussing at me. Do not cuss at me. Especially not in public. I'm done." I said starting to walk closer to the door. Trying to get out of the building because this is still my job. Arguing in it with someone knowing the last time I was in here I fought is just ridiculous.
Dayvon and all his drama is going to make me lose my job at this rate.
"You know that's how I talk. Stop actin brand new. What is you mad fa?" He said following behind me as I left.
"Von?" I heard a voice say. Ana when I turned around it was Remy. I was already irritated, and this is going to make it worse.
Can I just go home?
"What? Who you?" Von said turning to face her.
"I was just going to say. I told Sevyn to put in a good word for me to you. But I'll just talk to you myself. But Sevyn said you have a girlfriend." Remy said.
"Nah I do. It's Sevyn." Dayvon said and I scrunched up my face.
"I am not his girlfriend. Have it Remy." I said walking away and Von went after me. But out of the corner of my eye I saw Remy grab Von stopping him. And good riddance.
"She never told me you and her were talking." Remy said.
"Because we're not." I said walking away.
Dayvon POV
As if Sevyn walking away from me over and over wasn't already pissing me the hell off. Now this fuckin random is touching me?
"Yo don't touch me. Ion even know you." I said moving her hand off me.
"Why are you acting like that Von?" She asked.
"Girl stop saying my damn name. I don't even know you." I said walking away and I went after Sevyn again.
"You gone talk to me Sevyn." I said grabbing her arm again.
"We're not doing this. We are not doing this and not in public. Go back to the girl." She said shooing me away. And right now I really think Sevyn is just being petty.
Because what we're arguing over isnt even this serious to genuinely not be talking to me.
"Fine I'll follow yo ass home." I said walking behind her and she sighed.
She waited for the bus and I waited right next to her. When the bus came I got on with her and followed her all the way to the back and sat next to her. But I was damn there sitting on top of her just to piss her off.
"Get off of me." She said pushing me.
"No." I said pushing her arms as she was pushing mines.
"Let me have this. Just hug me back." I said trying to wrap my arms around her but she was fighting it. And hitting me and swinging making me laugh.
"How can you take yourself serious ma?" I said looking at her as she was still trying and fighting. But she is not stronger than me.
"Moveeeee." She whined pushing me and I just let her. She pouted and looked the other way and I face palmed myself laughing. I don't even know what to do.
"I'm sorry ma. That's what you want? I'm sorry. Whateva I did wrong. I apologize." I said and she side eyed me.
"If you don't even know what you did wrong, why are you apologizing? It's not even genuine." She said rolling her eyes and I sighed.
"Sevyn please. Stop giving me a hard time. Please. I said sorry ma. You wont even tell me what I did." I said.
"You cussed at me. And you are being secretive." She said looking at me finally.
"I'm sorry for cussin at you ma. I'm sorry. And what am I being secretive about?" I asked.
"About how you make money. You just had to tell me when we got to my house. Why do you always have to be secretive about what you're doing? And then you get defensive, I don't like that." She said shaking her head.
"Aight ma. All you had to—"
"Don't even "all you had to do was🤓" because you wouldn't have told me then anyway and you know that." She said and I sighed in defeat.
"Yeah. You know I'm right." She said facing out the window again and I laughed.
"I'm sorry ma goddamn. I said sorry. Forgive me please." I said holding her hand.
"I'll always forgive you Von." She said looking at me. And just those words made my dick hard.
I looked at her then her lips and grabbed her neck and kissed her and she laughed.
