Sevyn POV

Los Angeles, California
December 14th
Saturday, 4:02 p.m.

"Okay. Thank you Jae." I said and quickly hung up. I sighed and put my face in my hands.

He is 18 now. It's not going to be the same as the other times. He's not going to juvie. He's going to JAIL. Unless he can post bail.

My phone started ringing again and I thought it was Jae and Amiri ringing me back to the call. And when I picked up my phone it was a unknown number. I picked up and the voice said it was a call coming from the jail so I wasn't surprised.

"Sevyn? Ma." Dayvon said.

"Yes Dayvon." I said.

"Ma I got arrested-"

"I mean duh." I said kinda annoyed.

"Sevyn...Sevyn come on ma. Don't be getting mad at me like that right now ma. I got arrested. Call Durk." He said.

"What's his number?" I asked quickly getting up and running downstairs to find pen and paper.

He told me the number and I wrote it down.

"Ma Imma tell you everything when I get out ma. Jus call Durk. And stay by yo phone if I gotta call you again ma. Sevyn." He said.

"Yes Dayvon." I said.

"I luh you ma. Just work wit me right now. I love you." He said and i took a deep breath.

"I love you Dayvon. You want me to tell your mom?" I asked.

"Yeah. Yeah. Thank you ma. I love you. I love you." He said.

"I love you." I said and we hung up. I went straight back to the phone app and called Durk.

"Yo who this?" Durk said.

"It's me Sevyn. Please don't hang up." I said.

"Why would I hang up on you Sevyn? What's good? How you get my numba? Whatchu need?" He asked.

"Von got arrested." I said.

"He got arrested? Fa what?" He said.

"I don't know. He just called me. He left out like an hour ago to go something. You know how Von gets." I said.

"Yeah I know. Aight I got him. Tell that nigga I got him. I got that bond money he'll be out by tomorrow at least. I got y'all." He said and I sighed in relief.

"Thank you Durk. Thank you so much." I said.

"Anything fa that lil nigga. Aight imma talk ta you. I'm bout to go put up that money." He said.

"Okay. Thank you again." I said and we hung up.

I went and called his mom and she answered quickly.

"Hi Sevyn. How are you doing?" She said immediately upon answering.

"I'm doing fine. Um...I have to tell you something. You're not going to like it." I said shaking my head.

"You pregnant? Oh lord take the wheel." She said and I laughed.

"I am not pregnant. You do not have to worry about that ANY time soon." I said making her laugh.

"Then what happened?" She said.

"Dayvon got arrested." I said and she just sighed.

"Ain't shit new. What jail he at now?" She asked.

"Men's Central. Durk is going to bail him out. He said he would be out by tomorrow at the latest. I just wanted to tell you to not worry about it." I said and she let out a breath.
