February 14th
Wednesday, 6:56 p.m.

When me and Dayvon got off the elevator we turned the corner and saw Amiri and Nala.

"Bitchhhhhhh. Oh my Godddddd. Happy birthday!!" Amiri screamed running to me when she saw me.

"Happy birthday. Guess what i got? Birthday weed!!!" Nala screamed holding up a big ass bad of weed and I laughed hugging them both.

"Thank you guys. Thank you." I said and we left out. We got in the car and went straight to the venue. I never seen it. They havent shown me anything about this party. Didn't tell me if there was a theme or anything. All I know is, is it's a party and im the birthday girl.

When we got out Amiri and Nala took more of my pictures and made me do some tiktoks.

"Aight ma come on. Everybody waitin on ha ass." Dayvon said grabbing my hand.

"Oh please you just wanted to touch her." Amiri said rolling her eyes and i laughed walking with Dayvon.

He pushed open the door for me and everyone looked at me.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone screamed when they saw me and i laughed as everyone was recording and rushing over to me.

I love this. I've never had a birthday party.

As everyone ran to me i held out my arms letting them bear hug me as i smiled. Everyone including my family. On my dads side only and a lot of people from school. And of course my closest friends.

Only my dads side because after my nana cut off contact with my mother they decided they didnt want to associate with me and my nana anymore. And i never heard from them again. But. Can't miss something i never had i guess.

"Wait let my girl through. All yall get off ha." Von said pulling me out of the middle and i laughed as he pulled me to his side.

I went to the front of the room and Amiri gave me a mic.

"Thank you guys for coming to see me on my birthday. I am grateful for everyone in this room. I love all of you. Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday. Enjoy yourselves. Thank you." I said and they all clapped.

"Why you aint say you luh me onna mic?" Dayvon said loudly making everyone laugh.

"I love you Dayvon." I said blowing him a kiss.

"I love you mo ma!" He said making me laugh and i put the mic back to the DJ booth. Although i had to stay there for a minute to tell them what songs I wanted to hear.

And i started going around the room greeting everyone just to make sure I speak. And once i saw my nana come in which means she was fresh from work. I ran over to her hugging her because i havent seen her all day.

"Happy birthday my gorgeous baby. You look so pretty." My nana said hugging me tight i couldnt help but smile hard.

"Thank you nana. It's not too much?" I said looking down at my cleavage.

"I dont give a damn. You're 18. And you look good. Show the boobs." She said making me laugh.

"And i got you a giftttttt." She said holding up a box and i laughed and took it.

"I have to open it with the others. Per Dayvon's request." I said.

"Oh i know. He was very serious about planning this. He doesnt like to talk about it but he spent a lot of money for today Sevyn." She said.

"Oh my goodness. I feel bad now. He paid for breakfast, my hair, got me a new robe, a bouquet of roses with $100 on all of them, and he got me another gift, AND he paid a lot for this party?" I said.

"You know he doesnt mind spending all this money on you sweetheart. I was just saying to say thank you is all. Don't feel bad he wants you to have fun today." She said.

"Okay. Come try a cupcake with me." I said and she held my hand.

Even though im 18, i just completely melt into my nana. She's been with since i was so small. She was my sole caregiver, even before she took complete custody over me. I've been close with her since before i could even remember.

We went to the snack table and just started stuffing our faces with everything. This is really nicely catered too.

We tried cookies, slices of cake, cupcakes, jello, fruits. Just me and my nana leaned against the wall trying snacks.

"I seen yall fat ass eatin all this food for the last 25 minutes." Dayvon said coming up to us and i laughed.

"Cmon ma i want my time witchu." Von said pulling my hand.

"Take her. I'm not holding her hostage." My nana said shooing us away and i laughed again.

I let Dayvon take me away and we just snuck off where no one else was.

"Thank you for the party Dayvon." I said looking up at him and he kissed me.

"Yo ass know you got me wrapped around yo finger. Yeen gotta say thank you." He said.

"But still Dayvon. You didnt have to do all this. I really appreciate it. I love you." I said and he kissed me again.

"I love you mo." He said and i wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him.
