December 24th
Tuesday, 5:47 P.M.

"Be back at a reasonable fucking time Dayvon. You told me to make you this cake. At least be back to eat it." I said turning the Christmas tree lights on.

"I already said I was gone be back at 10 why is you trippin?" He laughed pulling his hoodie over his head.

"Because you always say that. And then come back at 12 or 3 in the morning." I rolled my eyes.

"I only came home at 3 one time folks stop tryna drag it." He said pulling his hat on his head and I rolled my eyes.

I really just have an attitude he's leaving period. And on Christmas Eve. He's not even going to the studio. He's running around with his friends. But at least this gives me time to wrap his presents up without him seeing.

I went to the kitchen opening the fridge and I felt Dayvon behind me.

"Why is you actin like that? You was just cool a hour ago." Dayvon said and I kept looking through the fridge.

"Because what the fuck illegal shit could you be doing on Christmas Eve?" I said taking the juice carton out and Dayvon took it out of my hand and picked me up putting me on the counter.

"I'm not gone be long Sevyn." He said looking at me and I looked at him.

"You don't even know what the hell I'm doin. I could be goin to get yo fuckin presents." He said.

"Lying is something you should know by now you cannot do to me. You don't have any jewelry on. Not even your O Block chain. I know you're about to do something you have no business doing." I said and he pulled me closer to him on the counter.

"If you know then just let me do what I need to do real quick." He said and I took a deep breath.

"I love you Sevyn." Dayvon said kissing me. He ALWAYS gets me with the kiss and I love you combo.

"I love you." I said kissing him again wrapping my legs around his waist and I felt him smirk.

"I know whatchu doin. Tryna get me not to leave." He said and I sighed and loosened up my legs.

"It usually works." I said looking the other way.

"It's workin but I know what I gotta do ma. N imma come back home and stay as long as you want." He said.

I jumped off the counter following Dayvon to the door. He opened it and I pushed it closed looking up at him.

"Please be safe." I said and he got to my level and kissed me.

"I will ma. I love you. I love you. Stop worrying." He said kissing me.

"I love you." I said and he opened the door again leaving out and I watched him walk down the hall. I face palmed myself throwing my head back.

I want him focused on his music. Not on this street shit no more. He makes all this money and moved so he wouldn't do this no more. And he's still going out doing shit he doesn't need to do.

I took a deep breath and locked the door and went to our bedroom. I took out all the presents for him I stashed and got the wrapping paper taking it all to the living room. I turned on a movie and started wrapping his gifts nice.
