Sevyn and Von hung around the same people but did not like each other. But they were just cordial. Until Von's birthday came up and Sevyn was the only friend of his that remembered.
Los Angeles, California October 20th Sunday, 9:03 a.m.
I finished up cooking and now I'm cutting up strawberries to put over it to make it look really nice for her. She's been sleep or in her room this whole time. Thinking me and Dayvon are just goofing off in the kitchen.
"Lemme get a—"
"No." I said smacking his hand away and he hit me too.
"Get your hands out of nana's food." I said looking at him.
"You be beggin me ta eat fruits and shit and now I'm tryna eat it and you won't let me." He said.
"Okay get a strawberry out of the container. Not off the plate Dayvon." I said pushing him to the other counter.
I set up the food how I knew she would like and I picked up the plate and the big cup of coffee and went to her door. Knocking on it with my foot since that was the only way I could knock. And my nana opened the door and she smiled when she saw all that I made.
"Oh my God." She said making me smile too.
"This is your pre birthday breakfast. I made all the stuff you like. And me, Nala, Jae, Amiri, Quincy, and Von are treating you to dinner later tonight." I said giving her the plate.
"Thank you Sevyn. I love you so much. I appreciate you." She said sitting the plate and cup down on her dresser to hug me and I hugged her back tight.
"I love you more nana. I'm about to go get my hair done and I will be back very soon." I said looking at her.
"Okay my beautiful baby, thank you." She said poppin a blueberry in her mouth and I laughed going back to the kitchen.
"You ain't make me no food." Von said looking at me and i rolled my eyes snatchin m phone off the counter and going back to my room and he ran up behind me.
"You not gone get me no food?" He said closing the door behind himself.
"Absolutely not. Your birthday is not tomorrow. It already passed." I said going to my closet.
"But I'm hungry ma." He said laying on his back on the bed.
"That's too bad. I have to get my hair done. You should have gotten food before you came here." I said.
"On O I thought you was gone make me some food too." He said making me laugh.
I got dressed and wore this.

I kept my bonnet on and put on some stud earrings and a silver cross necklace. Just to have on some jewelry for when she takes pictures of my hair finished.
"Fuck ass bonnet." Dayvon said hitting my bonnet and i side eyed him.
"Is this how you act when someone doesn't have their hair done. You're damn there bullying me." I said adjusting my bonnet.
"Cause—"
"I don't like being bullied by men that need retwists." I said opening the door and he looked at me with a straight face making me laugh.
We left out and caught the bus and went to my hair stylist. When we got in Dayvon went straight to where he normally sits and i sat in the chair.
"Let's listen to music." Aria said giving me her phone and i picked up my phone to see my playlist too. I started making a little playlist and me and Aria were singing the songs while she did my hair.
When she finished my hair this is what I got.

I love the effortless look that the hair has. It looks so clean. And the no edges just added to the clean look.
She took pictures and videos and I stood up and looked in the mirror.
"How much do i owe you?" I asked unlocking my phone.
"Oh Von already...paid...did you not know?" Aria asked and i looked at her and then looked at Dayvon.
"Didn't i tell you to-did he pay you?" I asked Aria and she nodded laughing.
"Alright man. See you later Aria." I said gathering my things.
I left out the door not saying anything to Dayvon. He just followed behind me.
"I neva met a female mad that a nigga paid fa they fuckin hair." Dayvon said as we got on the elevator and i rolled my eyes.
"I didn't ask you to Dayvon. I don't like people paying for things for me." I said.
"But you pay fa everything fa everybody else like what the fuck." He said.
"Because that's what i want to do. And nobody minds me paying for things for them. SEVYN doesn't like people paying for SEVYN'S things." I said.
"I ain't arguin witcho dumb ass bout this. I paid fa yo hair. And imma keep doin that shit. I'll pay 2 weeks in advance befo you getcho hair done. Jus ta save you the trouble ma." He said and i just looked at him.
"That's nice Dayvon." I said smiling and he laughed.
"Kiss me?..." He said.
"Nope. That was cute. But you just called me dumb. I heard you." I said making him laugh but he grabbed my neck and kissed me and i pushed his chest laughing but he's stronger than me. And backed me up against the wall and kissed me so i stopped fighting him.
And he held my neck tight. And he pulled away and bit his lip looking at me.
"You so sexy i just wanna eatcho face." He said making me laugh and pushing him away.
