Monday, 8:48 p.m.
When I finished getting ready I came out of my room with Von and we waited on my grandmother. It would look suspicious if I was rushing.
Everyone is already there I have Nala and Amiri there making sure everything is right.
When she came out she had on a black dress and she curled her hair all nice and I smiled.
"Oh shit na." Von said getting up making me laugh.
"Is this nice?" She asked.
"Yes nana. You look great. Let's go." I said taking her hand and we left. Dayvon drove and when we pulled up there I was starting to get nervous.
"Girl you said this was a fancy restaurant. It look like a hole in the wall." Nana said making me and Dayvon laugh.
"Nana it's fancy. Dont judge it by the outside." I said.
"Child please." She said making Von laugh.
Dayvon parked the car and we got out of the car.
"Aight nana. You gotta close yo eyes." Dayvon said.
"Now why in the hell i gotta close my eyes this ghetto ass shit." She said making us laugh again.
"Why do you have to be difficult grandma. Close your eyes." I said and she rolled her eyes and closed her eyes and Von held her hand leading the way.
I slowly opened the door and everyone was waiting and quiet. I held the door open for them and when she got all the way in she opened her eyes and everyone screamed surprise and she covered her face smiling making me laugh and smile excited for her.
"Gotcho ass." Von said making everyone laugh.
My nana went off and mingled with everyone and I was with Von just watching her enjoy her party.
"You'll make me a plate ma im hungry as hell." Dayvon said.
"Come with me." I said and he got up and took my hand.
We went over to the table and I got a plate and let him tell me what he wanted on his plate.
"You don't want no food ma?" He said and I shook my head.
We went back over to the table and sat down and I went on my phone just recording myself and taking pictures.
Dayvon POV
I watched Sevyn put ha password in. Why the fuck the password to ha phone the year she was born. Ha ass slow onna low.
But im remembering that shit fa later.
She was recording herself and taking videos and I was just side eyeing ha. I saw ha take a video she looked a lil too good in and I snatched her phone from ha hands.
