Hebi's POV

A while later Scales let us out of our cages. He had a villainous smile on his face.

"Wh-Where are we g-going?" Lloyd asked. He looked terrified.

"You two are going to watch me and general Slithraa fight," Scales said.

"Do we have to? Watching adults fight each other isn't fun," I said.

"Yes, you have to."

I sighed as we were taken to The Slither Pit.

One of the adults said, holding our staff, "Winner gets the staff and leads the tribe. You know the rules. There are none, but in The Slither Pit whatever I say goes. All right, fight!""

And the fight began.

For a second they just circled each other, which was boring. But after a few minutes the general attempted to trip Scales. Scales jumped, so he wouldn't trip.

Scales attempted to hit the general, but the general quickly grabbed his hand, stopping him.

The general then attempts to punch Scales but fails. And Scales quickly punches the general.

I noticed Lloyd trying to grab a map, so I quickly grabbed it for him. It was easier since I was closer.

"Thanks, Hebi," Lloyd said.

"Two weapons!" the adult yelled.

Quickly weapons appeared, hanging. The general grabbed a shield and an axe. Scales grabbed two swords.

The general quickly threw his axe at Scale which Scales easily dodged. The cave shook, and an icicle fell hitting the general's shield.

"Boo!" I yelled.

"Hebi, we probably shouldn't be booing the person who won't kill us," Lloyd said.

"The only fun thing about fights in The Slither Pit is that you can boo people, and I want to have fun" I said.

"Well, then boo Scales. He's the one who wants to kill us!"

"Okay, Lloydie, you don't have to get so mad." He sighed and went back to watching.

"Side winder!" the adult yelled.

The battle field tilted.

"Go, general, go!" me and Lloyd cheered.

"Who's the one who will save us?" I cheered.

"Ummmm............." Lloyd said confused.

"The general!"

"Oh! Okay!"

"Who's the one who will probably win?"

"The general! Wait. Did you say probably?"

"Yes, but that doesn't matter."

"But you said-"

"Lets just watch."

The general tried to hypnotized Scales, but Scales quickly kicked him in the face. Scales hits the general a couple of times, but each time the general blocked it with his shield.

Scales then used fang-kwon-do, allowing him to kick the general in the face again.

"That was so cool!" I yelled.

"Hebi," Lloyd said in a serious tone.

"I mean boo!"

"Better."

Scales walked toward the general.

"Get up! Get up! Please, get up!" Lloyd said.

"If you get up I'll give you my entire supply of candy!" I yelled.

"Wait. You have candy?" Lloyd had an eager look on his face.

"No, but he doesn't know that." Lloyd let out a sad sigh.

For a second the general tried to get up, but then he quickly fell to the ground again.

"We have a winner!" the adult yelled. He handed Scales the staff and Scales grew a tail. At the same time the general lost his tail.

I sighed. It was to late. The general lost. Scales could do whatever he wanted to us now.

"You will be loyal to me now!" Scales said, pointing his staff at the general.

"I will do as you command," the general said.

"You, leave and never return!" Scales said pointing to Lloyd.

"And, you," Scales pointed to me, "Prepare to suffer." I paled and tried to break out of my ropes. Surprisingly it was easy.

"Come on, Lloydie, lets go before he kills me!" I said.

Me and Lloyd ran out of that cave faster than I'd ever ran before.
