Chapter 32: The Green Ninja Has To Be A Ninja

Kai's POV

"With his fist on fire," Zane finished.

"Whoa," everyone said. I smiled. I was definitely going to be the green ninja.

"So I'm the green ninja," I said.

"What are you talking about? He had incredible strength to lift that cargo and save his life. It's me," Cole said. I merely chuckled. I could probably lift that.

"No, no. Did you miss the part of the story where the guy pulled out nunchucks? I have nunchucks!" Jay said.

"It's obviously not you. You're to weak to be the green ninja," I said.

"Hey!" Jay yelled.

"I think you are all missing the point of this dream. The point is the falcon flew on his arm, and it was my dream, so naturally it is me," Zane said.

"Also do not insult Jay, Kai," Zane added.

"I'm with Zane. About the part of not insulting me. Not the part about him being the green ninja," Jay said.

"But I could be the green ninja."

"I'm just saying I don't agree with you. Either way I think we can cross Cole off the list. I could've lifted ten times-" Jay began.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Cross me off the list? Anyone can hold nunchucks!" Cole yelled.

"It's obviously me! I have a fire weapon. None of you-" I began but then someone interrupted me.

"Have any of you thought that maybe it isn't any of you?"

"It said a ninja. We're the only ninja! Who else would it be, you-" I began but after turning realized it was Nya, my sister.

"You what?" she said, glaring at me.

"Amazing girl! Have I ever told you you look amazing?"

"Don't try to flatter me. Also there are more ninja in the world. And people very capable of being ninja like myself."

"Nya, you're not a ninja or strong enough for that matter."

"You did not just call me weak!" I paled, realizing what I'd just done.

"I was just kidding! I'm sorry, okay!" It was to late though. Nya began to attack me.

"Nya, stop attacking Kai. He must give his answer to the riddle," sensei Wu said. I breathed a small sigh of relief.

"The best way to defeat your enemy is to....... Train, sensei?" I said.

"Feeble and incorrect. Maybe some more training will help you focus. Remember what happened to your vehicles when you lost focus. A razor sharp weapon is an extension of a razor sharp mind." He walked back inside, and we all groaned.

"How am I supposed to focus when we don't know who the green ninja is?" Jay asked.

"I could help!" Nya said.

"Nya, this is for ninja. Not wanna be ninja." She gave me a sharp glare.

"Did I say wanna be ninja? I meant amazing ninja. Ummmmm. Bye!" I ran away before she could attack me again.
