Jay's POV

The rollercoaster car started moving.

"Later, alligator! Let's go, boys!" Pythor exclaimed.

"You go make sure Nya doesn't die. I'm going to try to save Lloyd," Hebi said.

"Okay," I said before jumping onto the rollercoaster car.

"What happened to you?" Nya asked.

"What happened to you?" I asked back. I noticed that farther down the track was a ring of fire and the parts of the track after that had been ripped off. I gulped. This was more dangerous than I thought.

"We have to get you out of here!" I exclaimed as I attempted to free Nya.

"Were you bit? Take off your head scarf!" Nya said.

"I'd prefer not. I wassss meaning to tell you, but I didn't want it to ruin the date."

"Awww. That's so sweet. Hey! You were the first in your little scouts group to get your knot badge right?" I sighed.

"Yeah, about that. I made that up jussst so I could impress you. I was never in little scouts."

"You weren't? Hold on!"

"What? You have an idea?"

"No! Hold on!" That's when I realized we were about to go down hill. I quickly jumped into the car, grabbing onto Nya for safety.

Once we were moving smoothly again I checked to make sure my scarf was still on. It wasn't.

"Don't look at me! I'm a monssssster! Though I hate the samurai. Where is he when you actually need him? Ssssssamurai! Help! Help! Samurai!"

"Jay! I don't think the samurai is coming."

"Why?"

"I know this might not be the best time, but I haven't been totally honest either." I stared at her suspiciously. Was this about Cole?

"What isss it?"

"I'm the samurai!" I breathed a small sigh of relief.

"Okay, good. I thought it was something crazy like you and Cole- wait. You're the samurai!

I paused realizing how close we were to the ring of fire. "Ahhh! We're running out of track!"

"Jay! If anything horrible were to happen I want you to know that you don't have to wear cologne or pretend to be anything that you're not. Because I like you best when you're you." She then kissed me.

I stayed silent for a second. She actually kissed me!

"Your face! You're returning back to normal!"

"It's just like you said. You must've raised my heart rate."

"Whatever happens next just remember you are the best you."

All of a sudden I felt power surge through me, and I began to glow.

"What's happening?"

"My true potential!"

I quickly stopped the car before it hit the ring of fire.

"I really wish you would've stayed a serpentine," Hebi said.

"Why?" I asked shocked.

"Cause then you would've finally known how I feel."

"Well, I am personally much happier with only one serpentine student," Molly said, and we all jumped.

"When'd you get here?" I asked.

"A while ago. And let me just say, Nya, you really had me fooled. I never would've guessed you were the samurai!"

"Technically I was the first to discover her secret, and didn't we agree whoever we thought was the best would naturally be the green ninja?" Kai asked.

"I knew the entire time!" Hebi exclaimed. "You guys just don't listen."

"Speaking of not listening, what am I supposed to do with Lloydie here?" Molly asked, pointing to Lloyd. I jumped.

"You actually managed to convince Lloyd!" I said.

"More like Molly did. She can be pretty menacing when she wants to be," Hebi said. Lloyd grumbled.

"I don't know why you think I'm related to that thing," he said.

"Molly's not a thing! She's your grandma!"

"Why would you think she's a thing?" I asked.

"No reason," Molly said, covering Lloyd's mouth. I stared at her suspiciously.

"What are you hiding?"

"Nothing! Lloydie's just being extra rude cause he's grumpy cause he's been hanging out with meanies to long," Hebi said. I stared at her suspiciously.

"Erm. How about we change the subject!" Molly said. I sighed.

"Okay.... You know what I learned today?" I asked.

"What's that?"

"No matter what secret you have whether you're a snake or a samurai. It's important to be yourself." A small grumble came from Lloyd, and Hebi chuckled.

"Some people just have some trouble figuring that out," she said. Lloyd rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, that's cute. But you wanna know what I learned? The serpentine now have the first fangblade."

"But we're getting stronger! One day we'll all reach our true potential, and Pythor will be stopped! And maybe I'll actually learn spinjitzu!" Hebi said.

"Maybe," I said, smiling. "And we figured this all out without sensei. Pretty good for four ninja." Nya playfully punched me.

"And a samurai." Hebi un playfully punched me.

"Five ninja." Hebi punched me again.

"What was that for?!?"

"And a teacher and future ninja!" She said.

"Lloyd's not a future ninja!"

"You don't know that!" I grumbled.

"Fine. Five ninja, a samurai, a teacher, and a future ninja. Happy?"

"Yes."
