Lloyd's POV

We crawled out of the hole that the constrictai general had made.

"This is it, Pythor. The map leads us here. The first fangblade," Scales said. He pointed to an amusement park. I stared at it. I'd never been to an amusement park before. It looked really cool.

"Maybe it's better to wait until dark, so we don't attract any unwanted attention from the ninja or samurai," Scales added. I quickly shook my head.

"No! I want to go!" I said.

"Floyd, you don't get to make that decision," Pythor said, giving me a glare. I sighed.

"I just wanted to go to an amusement park. I've never been to one before." Pythor gave me another glare.

"No more talking." I quickly shut up.

He then smiled as he looked at it.

"I think we'll fit right in," he said. I stared at him confused. Then why had he said that I couldn't choose if we were gonna go anyways?

We walked into the amusement park.

Surprisingly, no one freaked out. I wasn't sure why. Was it because there were a bunch of kids and people dressing up like snakes? Did they think that the serpentine were just dressing up as snakes, and I was just a normal kid? Did no one notice that the serpentine generals had tales, and that I totally looked like a villain?

Was my attempts of being seen as a villain a failure? It didn't take me long to realize that yes, it was a failure. Because I was failing as a villain. No one could tell because I was that bad at it.

I sighed as I thought about it. Every time I'd thought I'd gotten over it I'd think about it again and become upset again.

"Excuse me. Would you mind if my family takes a picture with you?" a man asked. I sighed again. People even wanted to take picture with us!

"Your costume is so authentic!" a women exclaimed. I chuckled nervously.

"Y-Yeah, c-costume," I said. The women looked at me.

"You okay?" she asked. I nodded. I was just a bit worried everyone would realize, and the ninja would send me back to Darkly's. Or put me back on that post. And I was a bit upset about the fact that I was a failure. But other than that I was okay.

"Of course, Philip's okay. He just doesn't feel comfortable around strangers," Pythor said. I stared at him confused. Who was Philip?

"Who-" I began, but Scales quickly interrupted me.

"We'd love to take a picture with you! Welcome to-to, uh, mega monster amusement park!" Scales said as he moved closer to them so that they could take a photo. One of the hypnobrai quickly ran toward them, holding a camera.

"Say cheese!" he said.

"Cheese!" everyone exclaimed.

I managed to sneak away while Pythor was recovering from the flash. I just wanted a minute to look around and have fun.

I smiled as I looked around. This place was so cool!

After a while I started to get hungry, so I tried to steal some cotton candy. I didn't know much about cotton candy since I'd never had it. Except that the blue ninja had liked it, and it was candy, so it must taste good!

Quickly the person working the shop realized what I was doing. He chuckled.

"Sorry, kid, but you're gonna have to pay for that," he said as he took the cotton candy from me. I sighed.

"I don't have any money," I said in a sad tone.

"Oh, where are your parents? You could ask them for some." I sighed, remembering the many many times I'd had to answer this question before. No matter how many times I said it it never hurt any less.

"I don't have any." The man stared at me shocked.

"None? Then who took you here? Did you come alone?" I quickly shook my head.

"No, my friends took me here." Scales walked up to me.

"Philip, come on. I don't want you to get in trouble," he said. I stared at him confused.

"Who's Philip?" He chuckled.

"Oh, Philip. Don't tell me you forgot your name! Now come on. I wouldn't want anyone to hurt you." I grabbed his hand, feeling scared. I knew what he meant by anyone. Pythor. Pythor often punished me when I did something wrong. I was okay with it. As long as me and him were still friends I was okay. But it still scared me.

"Is this your friend?" the man asked. I nodded.

"Yeah, this is Sc-" I began.

"Scott! My name's Scott," Scales said. I stared at him confused. Why were we not calling each other by our real names?

"Well, hello, Scott," the man said. Scales smiled.

"Hello, sir. I'm sorry about any inconvenience my brother might've caused you." He quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me away. The man quickly stopped us.

"May I ask if you're here with an adult?" Scales chuckled.

"Yes. Our parents of course." The man gave him a look.

"That would make sense. Except....... He said he had none." Scales glared at me. I paled. Why did I say that?

"They're not our birth parents. He still hasn't gotten used to the idea that they're our parents now."

"Okay...... Guess that checks out!" He then handed me some money.

"Why did you-" I began.

"So that you can get some sweets. A day at mega monster amusement park wouldn't be complete without sweets!" I smiled. Scales chuckled.

"Thanks. Now we've got to go, kay, Philip?" I nodded.

"Kay." We then walked away. Scales sighed.

"You really shouldn't have done that," he said.

"Done what?"

"Told that man you don't have parents. Asked who Philip is even though it's clearly your fake name. Acted so scared the entire time like I'd threatened you. Basically everything." I sighed. I'd failed again. And it was something that was really hard to fail! I really was a failure.

Author's note: Pythor created fake names for himself, the generals, and Lloyd, so that no one would recognize them at mega monster amusement park.

Philip is Lloyd's fake name. Scott is Scales' fake name.

The fake names all start with the first letter of their real name. Except Lloyd, but that's because Pythor used his pronunciation of Lloyd's name aka Floyd.
