Chapter 70: Garmadon, Meet Harumi, Your Worst Nightmare

Harumi's POV

A giant hole opened up in the sky. I paled. Maybe running away wasn't a good idea. Two people fell out of the hole. An old man and a man with black skin and four arms? I wasn't quite sure.

"I'm back, Ninjago," the four armed man said before laughing evilly.

"What just happened?" I asked shocked.

"Little girl, where are we?" The old man asked.

"I'm not sure."

"Where are your parents? Maybe they know."

"My parents? They-um- they're  busy!" I didn't want to admit that I'd left.

"Tell the truth. Or else," the four armed man said. I paled.

"F-Fine! They're not here. I left."

"How come?" The old man asked. I grumbled.

"That's none of your business. Now tell me who in Ninjago are you two?"

"Wu. Sensei Wu," the old man said.

"And I'm surprised you didn't recognize me. Garmadon. Lord Garmadon. Future ruler of this realm," the four armed man said. I blinked.

"Did you say Garmadon?" I asked.

"Yes. I'm assuming you've heard the stories."

"As in lord Garmadon?"

"Yes, I just said-"

"As in the father of Lloyd Garmadon!" I was so excited I thought I might explode. If he was Lloyd's dad then that meant that he knew where he was which meant he could tell me where he is which meant that I could find him, and then we could stay friends, meaning that this entire thing wouldn't be a waste of time after all!

"Yes. But how do you know my son?"

"We're friends. Do you know where he is?"

"Yes. With the serpentine. I've come to talk some sense into him." I blinked.

"What? Aren't the serpentine dead?"

"No. Who told you that?"

"No one. I just assumed they died trapped in a cave for thousands of years. Speaking of that, do you know why they trapped them? I heard they "ruled Ninjago" but that doesn't really give a good reason. I mean they could've been bad rulers which I think is what it means, but I'm not quite sure."

"You know about the serpentine, but not me?"

"Yes. Why would I know about you?"

"Because I tried to steal the golden weapons! It was a whole thing!"

"Well, it must've not been that big of a thing cause I didn't know about it."

"Well, you know what little girl. You should've cause I'm a big scary monster who can destroy you in five seconds." I simply smiled.

"Don't call me, 'little girl." Please."

"Oh, but that's what you are. A little girl who is defenseless against me."

"Actually, no. I'm not defenseless."

"Really? Cause you don't seem to have any way of-" I pulled out a knife and threw it at him. It went straight into one of his hands. He began to scream from the pain.

"I do. Now my name's Harumi, so please call me that. Or next time it'll be more than your hand."
