Chapter 66: Reformed Friendships

Lloyd's POV

"I have candy!" Hebi announced, storming in. I gave her a glare.

"Leave me alone," I said. She blinked.

"I know you're mad at me for some reason, but it's candy! Everyone likes candy!" I grumbled.

"Not from backstabbing jerks like you." She sighed.

"I don't know why you think that. I didn't do anything! Okay, maybe I've been helping out your sworn enemies, but only because I don't want the entire world to end!"

"The entire world won't end if Pythor succeeds!"

"Yes, it will. Didn't he tell you? He's going to unleash the great devourer! Which by the way is a giant evil snake that eats everything and turned your dad evil!"

"It did?!?!"

"Yup. But that's not really important. What's important is that it's gonna eat everyone and everything. That includes me, you, the ninja, Molly, Wu, Pythor, Scales, the serpentine, the owner of the mega monster amusement park, your momma whoever she is. Basically everyone."

"That's pretty bad...." I grumbled. Stop agreeing with the backstabber!

"So you agree? Yes! I knew you were secretly good!" She began to do a victory dance. I grumbled. 

"Stop! How many times do I have to tell you! I. Am. Not. Good!!! I am a villain, and that's all I'll ever be!!!"

Okay, maybe that wasn't true. I mean I was failing miserably. No real villain would fail like this. But I couldn't let her see that. I couldn't let anyone see that! That was for only me to know!

Hebi sighed.

"Really?"  I smiled. She actually believed me! Maybe I could actually succeed after all.

"Yes."

"Awww. I'd really been hoping you'd reform. It's much funner as a hero."

"Maybe for you but not me." She sighed again.

"Okay..... I guess..... I'll unreform..... After we save the world."

"I'm not gonna help with that."

"Seriously! You're really okay with the entire world ending?"

"Yup." She stared shocked, and I smiled. She really believed me!

"Hmmmm...... I'm gonna see if Molly knows how to undo hypnosis..."

Before I could tell her that I was not hypnotized Molly appeared out of no where.

"Did my grandson say my name?" She asked. I shook my head.

"Nope. Also not your grandson!"

"Are you Garmadon's son?"

"Yes." I let out a small sigh. Now a days I was starting to wish I wasn't. Maybe then I could actually help the ninja.....

"Then you're my grandson."

"No, I am not." She sighed.

"I can see why you would think that. But please, believe me."

"No."

"Would a picture prove it to you?" She pulled out a picture of her and a younger version of Garmadon and Wu. I blinked.

"Maybe..."

"How about this!" She pulled out another one. This time of Garmadon and Wu as babies.

"Okay, fine. I believe you."
