Hebi's POV

"Do something!" Lloyd yelled.

Pythor merely walked towards me and attempted to grab the map. I quickly hit him.

"No, you don't! You are not leaving me and Lloydie!" I said. I'd be fine without him. He was really rude. But I knew Lloyd would be upset. He saw him as a friend.

"Who said anything about leaving Floyd?" Pythor asked. I glared at him.

"His name is Lloyd."

"Whatever." He pulled a lever, and the floor fell under me. He smiled as he grabbed the map.

"I'm quite sorry, Hebi, but I can not have you getting in my way." He then left, and I began to scream for help, which was something I rarely did.

"Lloydie! Pythor trapped me in a hole!" I yelled.

I heard Pythor say, "We should get going."

I then heard Lloyd say, "But what about Hebi?" I was happy to hear that he didn't want to leave me.

"Hebi. We'll talk about her later." Then I heard a couple of muffled noises and a confused yell which I assumed was from the blue ninja.

After a moment someone pulled me out.

"Thank you! I knew you wouldn't leave me!" I said, expecting the person pulling me up to be Lloyd. I paled once I realized it was the black ninja.

"Ummm. Heh heh. I gotta go!" I said before attempting to run off. I soon realized there was no where for me to go since we were on the roof.

"Hebi Slithers! You come here right now!" an old man yelled.

"How do you know my name?" I asked confused.

"You've literally said it multiple times," the red one said.

"I've got her!" the blue one said as he grabbed me.

"Whoa! Hey! Let me go! You have until the count of three! One!" I yelled.

"What should we do with her? Wash her mouth out with soap for a year?"

"Two!"

"Ground her indefinitely?"

"Two and a half!"

"Have her sit in a corner for a century?"

"Three!"

"I know exactly what we must do," the old man said. I gulped. Oh no.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I smiled as me and the old man, who I now knew was named Wu, drank tea.
"You know what. I might actually help you guys. But only to get revenge on Pythor and save Lloyd." I said.
"That is good news."
I noticed a book called Jack The Rabbit And The Snake and opened it. After skimming through it I wrote on the last page.
It had originally said "And that is why Jack the rabbit never trusts a snake," but I found that rude since not all snakes were bad. And by not all snakes I mean me. Every other snake I'd met had been bad.
So I changed it to, "And that is why Jack the rabbit never trusts a snake other than Hebi." Wu gave me a look.
"What? I'm not bad! Plus I don't want Lloyd getting the wrong idea when he reads it. Once we save him of course." He smiled.
"I am quite happy to see that you are loyal to my nephew even after he betrayed you."
"What? Lloyd didn't betray me. Pythor did! And I don't even know if you could call that a betrayal since I saw it coming."
"Well, I'm happy to see that my nephew has such a good friend." I smiled, but then remembered where Lloyd was. I sighed.
"I feel really bad for Lloyd. He hasn't been in the best mental state lately, and I'm pretty sure Pythor's going to take advantage of that."
"Do not think that way. We must hope for the best."
"I guess you're right, but if Pythor wasn't going to use him then why didn't he leave Lloyd like he did me?"
"I do not know." Wu proceeded to walk away, and I quietly walked behind him.
"I don't get it, sensei," the red one, who I now knew was named Kai, said.
"Why isn't the little brat getting punished?" the blue one, who I now knew was named Jay, said.
"Yeah, we had to train all day and she gets some tea? It's not fair," the black one, who I now knew was named Cole, said.
"Hmmm, you're right. I nearly forgot. Why are you not still training? Did you find the answer to the riddle?" Wu asked. I had to hold back chuckles. They just gave themselves more training.
"No, sensei, we still don't know what the best way to defeat your enemy is," Kai said. They all began to walk away.
"It is to make them your friend," Wu said.
"Oh," everyone said. I decided to reveal myself.
"No it isn't! The best way to defeat an enemy is to make them believe their a chicken!" I said. Everyone stared at me confused before laughing. I stared at them confused.
"I'm serious! If I could just make Pythor believe he was a chicken then I'd be able to defeat him, save Lloyd, and save the day!" Everyone ignored me, and I grumbled.
Still I wasn't mad for long. They were still sort of right. Making your enemy your friend was a good way to defeat them. I should know. Pythor had done that.
And even though I would never admit it maybe Wu did too.
