*A/N- Not gonna lie. There is some violence in this one, but it's not too bad. Also, I made myself cry writing this one. I could just see Mia's face in my head the whole time. Don't know if it's the lack of sleep or if it was real sadness, like when a dog dies in a movie, but I guess you guys will find out as you read. If you read? Is anyone there? Anyway... Enjoy!

(MIA POV)
I can still remember the first time I was actually scared of Roger. The first and only time he'd put his hands on me. It was about 10 years ago, a week or so before Reecey and I were set to go to Antigua on holiday. From what I could remember, the actual holiday itself was one for the books, but that is a story for a different time.

It was the Monday before the trip. Reecey and I were laying in bed recovering from our very...enthusiastic evening... when my phone started to go off. It started as a few messages from Roger, and it kept escalating from there. I could tell by the way he was sending back-to-back messages that he was angry about something.

I couldn't call Roger with Reece in the room, so I tried to find a way to make him leave as quickly as I could.

"Reecey, baby, I'm absolutely starving. Do you think you could go and whip up something for breakfast?" I asked, putting my head on his chest. I was trying to use my sweetest voice while doing my puppy dog eyes. That's normally how I got him to do things for me if there was no need to threaten him.

He looked down at me, "Really? You never eat this early." He looked at me confused. My phone was still blowing up, so I put it on silent, praying he wouldn't get suspicious.

"Please, Reece? You don't expect me to just sit here and starve, do you?" I ask, still trying to convince him. The voice in my head was screaming at him to just leave, but I was trying to ignore it.

"Alright. What are you in the mood for?" He smiles at me and starts to get up out of the bed.

"You know what I like. Surprise me. I just need something filling," I said with a smile. He leaned down to kiss me, and I turned at the last second so his lips landed on my cheek. I felt him sigh and start to leave the room. "Thank you." I yelled as he walked out.

As soon as I hear him start messing with things in the kitchen, I get up quickly and close the door. I picked up my phone to see 5 missed calls in the last 4 minutes from Roger. "Shit."

I dial Roger back as quickly as possible, hoping to try and come up with a good lie to tell him anything he would believe.

"Hello, Roger," I say as he answers the phone. I can already tell how angry he is by his breathing, "What can I do for you on this pleasant morning?"

I hear him growl as he starts to talk, "What have I said about answering your phone when I call? If you aren't going to answer, then maybe I'll just cut off your Mummy's account." I know he was smirking on the other side of the phone.

"No, Roger, don't. I'm sorry. Reece was in the room, and my phone was on silent. I swear I wasn't ignoring you on purpose." I was trying to stay calm, but my nerves worked against me. Thinking about my mum being without the luxuries this deal had given her made me worry. Without him and my few shares in the company, everything would fall apart for her. She might spiral again without her extra support Roger was paying for. I didn't want to live through that again.

"Please. Just tell me what you called for, I have a busy schedule today. I'm sure you do too." I continued to plead with him, hoping I was being nice enough for him to drop it and get on with the conversation.

"Reece has been trying to contact Autumn. It's none of your business how I know, so don't ask." I rolled my eyes as he continued, "Come to the house at our usual time, you'd best not be late." He didn't even give me a chance to respond before hanging up the phone.
