*A/N- Oh, hey. How's it going? Did you like what I did yesterday by leaving you on a cliffhanger like that? No? Wow. Tough crowd. That's not even as bad as what I have planned a few chapters from now. Buckle up because you're in for a wild ride. Happy reading! Enjoy!

(MIA POV)
He stepped closer to me, only inches from my face. "Roger..." I whispered. "What are you doing here?" I asked. It was hard to hide how nervous I was. Normally, I would be fine and just tell him to piss off, but after talking with my mum the other day, I was definitely filled with anxiety.

"Did you think I wouldn't find out about this? You should know better than anyone that I have eyes everywhere." He stared at me with dark eyes. The seriousness in his voice was terrifying. I should've known better than to think I was his only spy or to think he wouldn't replace me if I turned on him.

I tried to grab my purse and walk away, but he gripped my wrist tight. It had never fully healed after the last time, so it hurt even worse than it should've. "Let go. You're hurting me." I said quietly and through gritted teeth, pulling my arm towards me. He wouldn't budge, though.

"You've been misbehaving lately, Amelia." He gave an evil grin, "It's time we talked about that. You're coming with me." He pulled me out of the bar by my wrist, slowly twisting it with every step we took. He only let go once we'd reached his car, and he opened the door. "Get in. Now."

"Are you crazy? No! Why would I willingly go with you?" I yelled and went to turn before hearing Roger pull out his phone and put it on speaker.

"Just listen to him, Dearest." That voice. So familiar. It was definitely a woman, very light and gentle. Roger passed the phone to me, and I could see who was on the other side.

"Mum? What are you- Why is she on the phone?" I turned to Roger furious. "She's not meant to speak to anyone but me. What the actual hell is going on? How did you arrange this without me finding out?" I snapped.

"Don't get that tone with me. You haven't been answering my calls, so I figured I would do something to get your full attention." He said smugly. "Thank you for your help, love. You know how she can be so stubborn. Tell the nurse I'll call back later to check on you." I was boiling with anger at how easily he could manipulate her. I tried my best not to show any more weakness than I already had.

He laughed, "Oh, you think I don't have my ways around the system? I own that whole building, so I get to choose who runs it, and I wasn't happy with the management anymore. Now she's back under my control." Roger moved forward and put my body up, leaning against the car. He put his arms on either side of me. Hands placed on the roof of the car. I could feel his breath on me, and I felt sick. Leaning right next to my ear, he whispered, "Now get your ass in the car before I drive off and pay Mummy Dearest a visit." He pulled back with a devilish smirk and opened the door behind me.

I got in and slid as far over in the seat as I could. Roger climbed in the back with me and told his driver to take us to some fancy hotel a few minutes away.

"It's a shame that a woman as beautiful as your mother has to be hidden away. Having someone as stunning as her, I would never get bored." He paused and looked me up and down, "I'm sure I could have a lot of fun with you too." He went to reach for my thigh, and I grabbed onto his wrist before his hand touched me.

"Place a hand on her or me ever, and I will end you." My knuckles were white, and my jaw was hurting from how hard I was gritting my teeth.

He snatched his arm away and put his back on the door to see me better. "Careful. You still don't know why I'm here, and you definitely don't want to threaten me."

"And why wouldn't I want to do that? I have nothing else to lose, so it would be easier for me to hurt you than the other way around." I looked away from him. We had just pulled in, and the driver, who I now knew was more of a bodyguard, stepped out to open the doors.
