*A/N- I wouldn't say this chapter is spicey. I mean, there are a few more intimate kind of moments, but I wouldn't call it spicey like in other stories I've read. Either way, let me know what you guys think. Happy reading! Enjoy!

(MIA POV)
Around a year ago, Reecey and I were forced to go to one of his family functions. Roger made him go to try and show all his business buddies that his family was perfect. Reecey only really went so he could see his sister. I was dragged along since I was his girlfriend and to keep the siblings away from each other.

The event in question had actually become one of my favorites over the years I spent with him. The annual Knight Family Halloween Ball. Everyone shows up in costume, and since all the guests are super rich, the costumes are always very extravagant. My costume that year was definitely my favorite. And Reecey's too.

I was getting dressed in the walk-in closet, and Reecey was in the bedroom doing the same. "Mia, I feel ridiculous." I heard Reece call out from the other room. "Are you sure I have to wear this? I have my pirate costume from last year I could wear instead."

"If you change, then we won't be matching." I said, popping my head through the crack in the door and sticking my bottom lip out.

He scoffed, "We aren't matching anyway. I'm dressed as the Grim Reaper. How do we match?" I hadn't told him what my costume was. Instead, I bought both and waited till the day off to give him his.

He started mumbling again while I put on a black, lace slip dress. Still hearing him while putting on a pair of black stilettos. I checked my hair, setting a black halo on top. Then I put on a pair of black feathered wings to finish off the outfit. "Are you done whining so I can come out?" I asked.

"Fine. Come on out and let me see." He said, slightly annoyed.

"Close your eyes." I yelled out.

"What? Why do I have to -"

"Just do it!"

"Ugh. Fine." I poked my head through to make sure his eyes were closed, and he had them completely covered with his hands. Such a gentleman.

I stepped out of the closet and went right in front of him and pulled his hands down. "What do you think?" I asked, doing a little spin so he could get the full effect. "Do you think I'll turn any heads?"

His jaw was on the floor, and his face was beet red. "You look... are you sure we need to go to this party?" He said, wrapping his hands around my waist. He wasn't very subtle with the hints.

"I didn't spend all that time getting ready to not go out." I frowned at him and took a step back.

"You've barely got anything on. How long could it have actually taken?" I slapped his arm and turned around to put some lip gloss in my clutch.

"It was long enough. The taxi should be here in 20 minutes, so make sure you have everything before it gets here." I said, going to walk out of the bedroom.

"Not so fast," he says, grabbing my arm and pulling me into him. "20 minutes is long enough." He gently grabbed my face and kissed me. He kept one hand under my chin, and the other slid down to my waist. He pulled me in, deepening the kiss.

I might not have been in the relationship, but he was sweet and a very good kisser. It helped that he was attractive and great in bed, too

I gave in for a few moments, just enjoying the fact that somebody wanted me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and now both of his hands were wrapped around me.

I pulled away and said, "Enough of that for now. We really need to get going."

"No, we don't." He said, moving his kisses to my neck and biting it softly.
