*A/N- I hope you guys liked my little introduction of myself. Sorry, this chapter took so long to get out today. I've been so busy trying to write it. I normally write them out the night before, but after the week I'd had, I just need a break from everything. I'm not even sure I left the house yesterday. Anyway, I hope you guys like it. Happy reading! Enjoy!

(REECE POV)
The takeover meeting was going to happen any minute. I already knew Marjorie wasn't going to be happy about our surprise visitor, but it would be better for her to find out when Mia walked in. If she was going to be mad at me, I wasn't going to pop the peace bubble any sooner than I had to.

"Big brother." Autumn walked up to me while I was standing outside the office door. "Are you going to enter the office, or just stand around outside it all day?" She asked me, crossing her arms.

"Who says I was going in the office? Maybe I'm trying to be a bodyguard or something to keep you and Marjorie safe." I said sarcastically.

Aut lifted an eyebrow at me, "You really think you are better suited for that than me? Do I need to remind you of how many times I've sent you to the hospital?" She did not. When it rained, my shoulder would still hurt from the last time she'd dislocated it. That was 25 years ago.

"No, you don't. Should we go inside and get this meeting started then?" I asked, moving over so she could walk in first. I checked my phone as she walked in, and Mia had just texted, saying she was less than a minute away. "Here goes nothing." I mumbled, entering the office.

I walked in, said hello to Marjorie, gave her a quick kiss, and then she started the meeting.

"Right, so how does a nursery takeover work then?" She asked.

"We need to vote him out, but we need a majority to do it." I responded.

"I see. It's the board of directors that vote, isn't it?" Marjorie asked, and I nodded. "Who's on the board of directors?"

Aut spoke next, "Obviously our father, myself, Reece..."

"Dads latest squeeze." I said, rolling my eyes.

Autumn looked at me and said, "While we're on the subject of that leech, I no longer think she's classed as a squeeze. I think she's actually around for the long haul." She looked disgusted as she said it.

"Ewe! She's younger than me!" The whole idea of it was just gross. Normally, I wouldn't judge, but it was my dad dating someone my sisters age. Does that not sound gross?

"Yeah..." Marjorie started. Her face showing the same reaction as the rest of us, "I don't even know if there's a word to describe how weird that is..."

Aut smiled slightly, "I can think of a few choice ones myself."

Marjorie smiled back at her. She's such a beautiful woman, and I'm reminded every day just how lucky I am to have her. She is the Cady Herron to my Aaron Samuels. "So, you've got you two, your dad, and Siobhan. Your dad can't vote, really, so isn't it just you two and Siobhan?" She asked.

"No." I said. Marjorie's expression turned to one of confusion, and so Autumn started to explain.

"There's a silent partner."

"We've never met them. We have absolutely no idea who they are." I joined in.

Marjorie looked back and forth between Aut and myself, "Who do you think it could be?"

"No idea," Autumn said, "They've been on the books since father started the nurseries. I couldn't even tell you if it's a man or a woman."

"Well, maybe we can find out who it is and reach out to them?" Marjorie asked. "Maybe they'll vote your way." Always so optimistic, and I loved her for it.
