*A/N- I don't know why, but I really struggled trying to get my thoughts out for this one. If anyone could tell me how far the next stop is for me to get off the struggle bus, that would be great. Happy reading! Enjoy!

(CHAR POV)
When we pulled up to the house, we weren't the only ones there. My car was the only one in the drive, but there were three other cars parked on the street in front. They were all empty, but I knew to whom they belonged.

The first was Autumn's jag. The second was Reece's Bentley. The third was Sorscha's little family car.

I told them to wait to come by, but they all showed up here anyway. They promised me they wouldn't come over. Mia did not need this today.

They were all standing in a huddle by the front door. It had just started to rain, but they stayed where they were since they brought umbrellas.

"I thought you said it would just be us..." She said, sounding upset.

I parked the car and placed my hand back in hers. "I was sure it would be. I'm sorry. I'll go talk with them."

Turning the car off, I went to get out, but Winter was already standing on my side of the car to help me. "Come on then. It's pouring, and we need to get you inside before you catch a cold." He pulled me out quickly and rushed me to the door.

Reece was on Mia's side, and I watched as he reached his hand out for her to take.

"Charlotte..." She whined, her eyes begging for me to come help her. Reece handed me his umbrella, letting the rain soak him so I could get Mia.

I knew by the look on his face that he was worried about her. If she couldn't fake a conversation or make a joke about him helping her out, then she wasn't in a good place.

I went over and got her out. I even had to undo her buckle for her, but I think she just didn't want to. "Let's go inside," I told her, kissing her cheek and then leading her to the door.

Unlocking the door, I lead her in first. Everyone filed in behind us. It was us, Reece, Marjorie, Winter, Autumn, Sorscha, Clodaugh, Carly, and baby Quinn. A full house for us.

Mia took her shoes off and then stood in the corner with me just holding my hand. Reece carried in a bunch of food that he'd prepared for us. Marjorie and Sorscha went around and started picking things up around the house. Clodaugh handed the baby to Carly, then went to help Reece in the kitchen with the food. Carly and Winter weren't sure what to do, so I pointed them in the direction of the lounge. Carly sat down with baby Quinn and played with a few toys the girls had left out.

Mia just stayed stuck in place.

"Amelia," I placed my free hand on her cheek, "I can ask them to leave if you want. I need you to tell me, though."

"It's fine... let them stay." She tried to smile, but it didn't last long.

"Okay, Darling." I pulled her in for a warm embrace. One hand on the back of her head to stroke her hair and the other on the small of her back. "Do you want to stay down here, or would you rather go lie down for a while?"

The emotions of the day were getting to her. She had nothing else to say or feel. She was upset, tired, angry, hurt. Everything had shattered her mind.

"I- I don't know." She sat down on the stairs and pulled me over with her. "I just don't know," I was still standing, so she rested her head on my stomach. Her arms were wrapped around my hips, and her hands gripped tight on my shirt. She began to cry softly.

Reece was walking over to check on us. Seeing what was going on, he ushered for everyone else to stay away. He went back to play with the baby, and Autumn crept up.
