Taylor's pov

My tour was over now, all shows had been completed and it was officially time to move into our new home. We were saying goodbye to the small apartment and our new home was set up and ready for us. All of the furniture had been put in place and I couldn't wait to show the girls their rooms. The drive there was so exciting. I drove and Travis held benji while Olivia and Meredith sat between the two girls. Harper wouldn't look at me or Travis, she was scared and I could tell but she didn't need to shut us out like this.

We arrived and put the code into the gate before pulling into a long driveway. Despite the home not being too big we made sure to take large measures like big gates and long driveways to ensure that we were all safe. The land that we have is also quite large giving the girls enough space to play outside.

Harper suddenly went from looking out the windows to looking down at her hands. One hand gently played with the ends of her skirt while the other was in her mouth while she bit her nails. I stopped the car and got out, making my way to the back door where I opened it and unbuckled Harper.

She tore to turn away from me and started whining but I took both of her hands in mine. Travis and Ellie went inside as it's not much of a surprise, we had all been there many times for decorating and the kids got to help paint the walls. "Hey harper, look at me baby. That's it, good girl. Look, I know it's scary and I know it's a big change but you're not doing this alone. Baby, you've seen the house so it's not totally new." I told her.

She just looked down and I could see tears glistening in her eyes. I carefully untangled the straps of her chair from around her arms and lifted her into mine. I walked down the driveway a little while she let out a few emotions, reassuring her that I wouldn't go inside until she's ready. She calmed down and I could feel her carefully playing with the ends of my hair at the back of my head.

"Ready." She whispered so I nodded.

I let her grab her blankie and bear and I put her down so that she could walk in by herself. She held my hand and followed me inside. I felt her getting closer and closer to me until she had one arm wrapped tightly around my leg, her other arm holding the lovies that she didn't dare to let go of. I could sense the worry behind her eyes so I carefully picked her up and walked further in.

Travis took her from me and we convinced her to help us make lunch before we showed her and Ellie their new rooms. She sat on the counter watching us put sandwiches together and just looked at the food in disgust. She was slowly hating more and more foods and it was starting to make me worry. She was getting smaller and smaller and it was so hard to convince her to try new foods too. She now only eats chicken nuggets, lucky charms and sometimes a ham sandwich.

I figured that if she helped make her own she would manage to eat it. Today was different. She just stared at her food and climbed into my lap every time I put her down in front of the food. "Harper I know you're struggling right now, I understand there's a lot going on and I am more than happy to cuddle you and hold you after you've had your lunch." I told her.

She shook her head so I looked over at Travis for help. He smiled and picked her up, placing her in his lap and grabbing her sandwich. He held it out to her but she shook her head so she got out back in her seat. This continued until she eventually ate the sandwich and Travis handed her over to me.

Ellie kept mentioning how she loved the new house and all of the decor and how she was so excited to sleep in a new room. I couldn't tell if it was the truth or if she was exaggerating to try to make Harper feel a bit more excited but it didn't. Instead Harper put her head in her hands and leant forward against me crying.

I tried to not say much and just rub her back, I didn't want to invalidate her feelings but I also didn't want her to start over dramatizing this and forcing emotions. "Good girl for eating your sandwich. I'm very proud of you." I told her and she nodded. I stood up and put her down, putting the plates away in the sick bit she started crying and ran after me.

"You help Harper out, I will wash the plates." Travis told me and I nodded.

"Sorry, lots of emotions for this little one today." I told him while picking her up. He laughed and started washing the plates up. We cuddled on the sofa and I turned on tangled for her but she fell asleep 15 minutes into the film. Good thing Ellie and I have grown to enjoy the movie. Even Travis was singing along at one point.

We decided to let Ellie see her room so we carefully put Harper down on the sofa and I covered her up all nice and cozy before leading her upstairs. Travis pointed to the door with an E on it and she opened it up. She slowly walked in and smiled at the decor that was perfectly fitting to her personality. We made sure that both girls had rooms that completely show their amazing personalities.

Ellie had shelves displaying all of her achievements in dance, her first pair of pointe shoes, old ballet shoes and other pairs that showed her dance journey. We had managed to retrieve a lot of those things from her house with her parents' permission. On one shelf sat her 22 hat, the object holding the memory of when she decided that she wanted her life here so desperately. A reminder that she stayed with us for a reason.

I heard movement from downstairs so I quickly ran down and picked up Harper. "Hello gorgeous girl, do you want to see your new room? There might be a new stuffed animal on your new bed waiting to meet you." I told her. She rubbed her eyes and nodded slowly, placing her head down on me. I walked upstairs and showed her the top floor.

Once reaching the top of the stairs to the left are three doors. One being Ellie's, one Harper's, and the other a bathroom. To the right of the staircase is two doors. One of them is mine and Travis' room and the other is a spare bedroom, either for a future child or any guests. There are other spare rooms downstairs since we love having people over and decided that there can never be too much extra space.

"Hey, someone wants to see her new room." I said, causing Travis and Ellie to look over. They both smiled and I put her down in front of her door, encouraging her to open it. She grabbed my hand tightly and slowly pushed the door open very slowly.

I know Harper very well so this room was definitely not a difficult task for me. I got her almost the exact same bed as she had in the apartment, this meant that she still had some familiarity and wouldn't be too freaked out. She had the same bed sheets as mine and Travis' old bed but made for a much smaller bed of course. There was a little bear sitting against a decorative pillow which immediately caught her eye. I smiled and encouraged her to go grab it which she did. Just like Ellie, she also had her 22 hat up on display next to 4 picture frames. 2 on either side. One of the picture frames was when she jumped on the stage with the hat while dancing with me. The other was her when she wore Ellie's jacket and had her own little drum set walking behind me in the smallest man who ever lived. Next was her during karma with me wearing Ellie's old jacket giving me a high five. And finally, my favorite was Travis carrying me during the transition for I can do it with a broken heart and Harper sat on Travis shoulders waving to fans.

The room was mostly pink themed and she seemed happy with it. Most of the room was filled with toy boxes and draws for all of her random belongings. I also got words printed above her bed on the wall saying "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." In gold. It was a reference to her small performance on stage with me and also to all of the nights where I couldn't sleep and I listened to her singing to herself through the monitor while we taught her to sleep in her own bed.

I no longer dread bedtime for Harper now, she settled so well. I had a feeling it would change though tonight.

A/N

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it! Any one who has any ideas on what Taylor can do to get harper to get the nutrients she needs without supplement gummies or any ideas on how to have Taylor settle Harper in the new home would be much appreciated as I love adding in what you guys want.

Also thank you SO MUCH for 100k VIEWS!!! That's actually the most views I have ever gotten on a fanfic and I can't believe that so many people have read this!

This fanfic will be going on for 100 parts and after that a sequel will be made for those who want it!

I think adding a baby into this fanfic may cause some issues so instead I think maybe a temporary foster for now might be a bit better until the sequel where Taylor can have a baby? What's your thoughts?
