Taylor's pov

I must have woken up late the next morning because when I rolled over to cuddle into Travis his side of the bed was empty. I looked up at the clock and remembered he must have been getting ready for his live interview. I sighed and got up before heading downstairs where everyone was eating breakfast.

Harper looked exhausted and seemed very quiet. No matter how much I tried to start a conversation over breakfast she just wouldn't speak or look up. She was also extremely whiny so I brought her into my lap and held her close while she ate. When we finished Travis had to go for his interview. "Hey Ellie, while she's quiet could you maybe play with her for a little bit while I go get a shower?" I asked.

Ellie nodded and took Harper to the playroom where she sat with her for a while. I made my way upstairs to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. The calm lasted a whole 5 minutes before Harper came running into the bathroom screaming and crying. She tried to open the shower door to get in and run to me but she couldn't quite reach the handle.

Now panicking I quickly opened the door and picked her up. I reached over for a towel and managed to put her down for long enough to wrap it around me before picking her up and taking her downstairs to the playroom. I found Ellie on the floor of the playroom looking guilty. "Ellie what's happened why is she screaming and crying."

"I reached over for a toy and she got it first so when I tried to take it from her she started hitting me because she's stupid and won't talk. So I hit her back." Ellie told me. My eyes widened and I looked down at Harper who was finding it difficult to take a breath.

I helped Ellie up knowing it was probably hard with her boot on before taking us all to the sofa where I sat down with Harper and calmed her down. Ellie sat beside me. She hasn't seen Harper this bad ever so she was clearly feeling guilty for how anxious the girl was not feeling. When I lifted my hand to brush some stray hairs out of Harper's face the little 3 year old flinched away and put her hands up in defense. Ellie immediately let out a sob when she realized how bad harpers trauma really is and how badly she had upset her.

Once she was calm I stood in front of them both.

"Ellie I want your phone and the tv remote from your room as well as your iPad, you aren't allowed it for 3 days, you're 18 you know better than to hit your sister. Don't even try to argue with me. Harper, go sit in the corner and think about your actions, hurting people isn't nice you should have told Ellie how she made you feel." I told them both. Harper looked down still feeling sensitive and emotional but headed to the corner where she sat down on the floor and stared at the wall. She has found herself in timeout many times now so I don't even have to specify which corner anymore, she just knows.

Ellie looked down and handed over her phone, remote and iPad. I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you, you can go to your room please and I want you to take some time to think. When you're both ready I want you to both apologize please. I'm not trying to upset you babes I'm just trying to teach you that this isn't right. No one has taught you these things before so it's about time I step up and do it myself." I told her. She nodded and headed off upstairs.

I looked down at my watch and saw that the 3 minutes was almost up so I headed towards Harper and knelt down behind her. I gently tapped her back and watched as she turned around. She had tears pouring down her little cheeks but she wasn't making a single sound. I wiped them away.

"Okay, do you think you can talk, baby girl?" I asked her quietly. She slowly shook her head and let fresh tears fall. I gave her a comforting smile and gently kissed her nose.

"Okay that's okay, you're just non verbal today and that's okay if that's what you need then that's fine. I want you to know that we will have a conversation about this when you do want to talk. I don't want to see you hurt your sister again and when she comes back down I would like it if you could try to say sorry to her. If not, you apologize as soon as you feel up to being my chirpy little chatty harper that I miss so much." I instructed. She continued to cry and nodded so I helped her stand up and made my way to the sofa. Harper wandered off crying clearly not wanting to talk to me. She can't stand me for an hour after she's been put in Time Out.

Travis pov:

I saw the door opening to my recording room. I presumed it was just a cat but as soon as I heard a little whimper my head turned to where Harper was stood at the door, still in her teddy bear onesie. She was sobbing and reaching over for me. I was mid way through and interview bit me and Tay decided that as long as the kids are with us when the media sees them we don't mind them being seen.

"Hey sorry for one second. Hi tiny, come here it's okay. Come sit with me, you're okay. Where's mommy, do you want to go find mommy?" I asked her but she shook her head and continued to cry. I carefully picked her up and imaged her in my lap, holding her head in place against me while gently rocking her. The interviewer waited for a nod before continuing.

As I spoke I could see Harper's fingers gently outlining the wording on my Shirt which I found absolutely adorable. Her little eyes were closing so slowly and she was finally calm again. Thankfully she was asleep within minutes. Taylor popped her head through the door wearing my hoodie and some tiny shorts.

She came over to my side so that she was just out of view and reached for harper. While answering a question I carefully handed Taylor over, keeping my main focus on the interview. Harper whined and Taylor quickly spoke up a little. "Shh mommy is here baby. It's just mommy." She whispered while walking out of the door.

The interviewer was in shock that they just heard Taylor in the background but they didn't say anything or bring too much attention to it. Once I finished the interview Harper was still asleep on the sofa and Taylor was loading the suitcases into the car for our yacht trip. We had a small drive to the port so we were leaving just before lunch.

I helped get Harper into the car when we were all ready and we headed off.

The drive there was quiet and the yacht was absolutely massive, it had to be to fit so many of us but it was incredible. The whole of my family and Taylor's family were going alongside some of Taylor's friends. I was going to bring some friends but no one was available to come along so I had to deal without. Gracie Sabrina and Selena were all coming because they wanted to meet the girls.

We stood at the entrance and greeted everyone for our little boating trip party. We couldn't wait for everyone to hang out and just have a good time. Harper clung to Taylor and wouldn't speak to any of our family members, not even the ones she has met so when Taylor's friends appeared the poor girl immediately tensed and started to panic a little bit.

Something was clearly going on in her head because she is never this on edge.
