Taylor's POV

The next morning I woke up to find my publicist Tree stood at the end of my bed. She looked fuming. I gave her a warm smile but she dismissed it and grabbed my arm, pulling me out of bed despite me being fully naked. "Get some clothes on and get in the car we're going out." She demanded.

I nodded and got myself ready before heading out of my room. I found Tree holding Harper and gently rubbing her small hand with her thumb. Harper Had her head down on her shoulder and Tree was walking up and down gently bouncing her.

Ellie looked over at me with evil eyes before going into her room and slamming the door. I watched as harper flinched at the noise before being easily settled by Tree and put down to bed in her room. I watched the whole thing thinking it was absolutely ridiculous. Harper doesn't need all this babying; she needs to be independent and toughened up.

Tree took me into the car and stayed absolutely silent, driving away to a scenic place before locking us in and turning to me. "You've got some explaining to do. Why did I get a call from Ellie this morning asking me to take harper for a few days because your toddler went to her big sister sobbing last night that you've been horrible with her." Tree told me.

I went to speak but I had no explanation. In my mind I hadn't done anything wrong, I just corrected her behavior as a parent should. "Calling her lazy, yelling at her for having basic human feelings. Getting mad at her for wanting you. Making her no other food until she eats a sandwich that has been sat out all day! You take away comfort, you started breastfeeding and now you just won't let ger have any? Tell me where the logic in that is Taylor." She continued.

"I've done nothing wrong, she's just making it up." I replied. I wasn't in the mood, I wanted to go home and cuddle with Travis all day.

"You're a parent! Your job is to take care of her not neglect her! You've been saying she doesn't need babying to Travis but Taylor she is basically a baby! Have you been taking her to the bathroom or has she been doing it in pull ups. If she's in pull ups, when was the last time you changed her pull up? Have you even tried taking care of her Taylor! All because you think it's going to magically give you a baby?" Tree yelled. I could see her getting more and more angry. She always had a soft spot for my little Harpie.

I just begged and didn't speak. I noticed tree roll her eyes before driving me home. She parked up at the front and unlocked the doors for me. "Are you not coming in?" I asked her, opening the door and stepping out. She shook her head, clearly disappointed.

"Send harper out with a bag of clothes and whatever else she needs. She can stay with me until you learn how to care for her." Tree told me. I immediately shook my head, promising to try harder, it was an empty promise but she managed to believe me before driving away.

"Auntie twee!" She squealed, running over before seeing it was just me. Her little face dropped and as she turned away to head off I could see how small she had become. We had made so much progress with her growth and now she's lost all of her weight again.

I let out a loud sigh and noticed her tiny body turn to look at me. The small duck onesie looked huge on her, she had fit perfectly into that before Travis and I got engaged, I pushed her away so much since then that not only has she not eaten but she's also not had her milk to help her either or to substitute.

"You don't have to be mean." She told me, feeling brave and confident.

"Harper not right now." I mumbled. I wasn't ready for this conversation. She can't make me want to be a parent or want to be nice. She is the reason I can't have a child and that hurts me. Just looking at her right now hurts me.

"No! You're not nice! You upset me and you're mean. Just send me back to an orphan place. I don't want to live with you. I hate you Taylor." She told me. The last part stung and I could see her tears forming with each word. Her bottom lip began to quiver before she ran off crying.

I rolled my eyes and poured myself a nice big glass of whine. Despite it being just the start of the day I needed it, she was stressing me out and it's an excuse to not be able to nurse her because you're not supposed to drink while lactating.

By the time Travis came downstairs I was 2 glasses in. I managed to hide it from him however when he got home from training I was about two bottles in. I don't know what had gotten to me but I felt the need to. "Hey Travis get my phone fro me please." I told him.

He nodded and handed me it before noticing my drink. While he started to rant about how that meant I couldn't feed Harper now until it's all out of my system I typed up the number I wanted.

"Taylor what are you doing you're just hurting he- No!" He yelled.

"Hi, I was wondering if your orphanage has space for another child. I can't handle her anymore and she said she wants to be an orphan." I told them in a chirpy voice. Her wish is my command.
