Taylor's POV

I turned around to see Ellie passing tissues back to harper. Travis immediately pulled over and as soon as I got to the back I noticed she was covered in blood. She really had been bleeding for a while. Travis followed me and I sighed, grabbing tissues and holding them over her nose for her.

Once the bleeding stopped I started trying to wipe blood off her face. She started whining and I felt my patience slip. I immediately slammed the wipes down onto the packet and turned around to take some breaths before I got mad.

I felt Travis' hand on my arm gently guiding me to the side. He instructed Ellie to get Harper into a new onesie and when we were at the back of the car out of sight of harper he pulled me into a tight hug. "What's going on Tay?" He asked me.

I immediately started crying and just held onto him tighter. I had barely even slept recently due to worrying about harper constantly and always wanting to be there if she woke up in the night. "My cramps are so bad Trav and i'm so tired. I can't even remember when I last slept and I just feel awful." I told him, sniffling a little.

I felt his hand gently rubbing my back and he held me close to him for a while. Eventually he moved away and gave me a quick kiss which I made sure to return before he wrapped an arm around my waist and slowly led me to the car. "Ellie get in the front please." Travis told her.

Harper was now on a new onesie and was all cleaned up. She had her iPad on and was watching a movie. I looked at her and smiled slightly before getting in the middle part of the car where Travis told me to put my feet up and get some sleep.

He then ran into a coffee shop and got some hot water before going into one of our suitcases and finding a hot water bottle. He filled it up with the water and handed me it as well as a few blankets and a pillow. "Get some sleep, I can handle these two." He told me.

I nodded and curled up in a ball, finally starting to fall asleep.

Travis' POV

Taylor fell asleep before I could even close the car door which was a relief. I hated that she was in so much pain and so tired. I had no idea how badly she had been sleeping and I felt awful for not helping sooner. I made sure to turn off the radio and got Harper to keep her iPad sound on as low as possible.

The quiet lasted for a few hours but eventually sheer became unhappy and desperate for Taylor. I offered to hold her but she didn't want that. "I wan Snuggie miwk!" Harper sobbed. I had no idea what to do at that point. I didn't want to wake Taylor up as she needed the sleep but I also didn't want Harper to be upset still.

"Harper you can have some when mommy waits up, I can't even hear any up at the minute because we're in the car." I told her. She started to cry and beg but there really wasn't much I could do. We had nowhere to go where I could warm up some of Taylor's milk in a bottle and I also didn't want to wake up Taylor who really needed some sleep.

I tried to let her forget about it by playing eye spy and telling she to look out for specific coloured cars but it didn't last too long. She soon started crying and trying to get out of her seat.

Of course her cries got loud enough to wake Taylor who pulled the hot water bottle closer to her stomach and looked around confused. I pulled over and let Taylor get back into the front. She let Harper lay against her and she put her seat backwards a little so she was laying back more.

I could see Taylor's eyes closing again but she was fighting it for Harper's sake. "Go to sleep Tay. I'll keep an eye on Harper and we can just sit here for a bit. I'll put her back if she falls asleep or when she's done." I told her, placing my hand on her thigh and gently rubbing my thumb back and forth.

Taylor nodded and was asleep almost immediately. I really hoped that she could recover and get some energy while we're driving so far because I had something extremely special planned and I need her awake and feeling her best. I don't want her feeling tired and fed up.

Once Harper finished we did a bathroom break and Taylor stayed asleep. I got us all some food and tried to wake Taylor up for it but she shook her head and fell straight back to sleep. She really meant it when she said she was exhausted.

Thankfully once she woke up, Taylor swapped with me and drove through the night, I stayed up with her but I didn't want to drive and get too tired and cause an accident. "Has ducky had a pee break?" She asked.

"Yeah but not recently why?" I asked her.

"I need to stop, I've had this tampon on for way longer than you're supposed to, I don't want to be the only reason we stop though so if ducky needs to go out I'll stop." She replied. I nodded and watched as she found somewhere with a bathroom and ran in as fast as possible. I never saw her run so fast in her life.

While she was gone I disposed of our food bags and let ducky stretch her legs before getting back in and waiting. When Taylor got back I gave her a smile and she sat in the seat for a minute. "We might as well take our time because we've not got long left to go and we are going to be early I think."

We were not. We were late. Taylor spoke too soon and we ended up in the most boring and horrible traffic ever. Harper wanted to be held and have a change of pull up but we couldn't quite manage that because we were almost at stand still.

What a great start to the amazing plan I had for the weekend.
