Taylor's POV

The next day we all got up and decided to get ready for a family trip out for the weekend to an amusement park. Harper had never been to one so I wanted her to be able to experience it and why not take her to Disney!

"Harper, come on, you need to wake up. I thought you wanted to go to Disney." I whispered softly, gently brushing some hair out of her face. Everyone else was ready now apart from Harper and I let her sleep for as long as l possible but if we didn't set off there would be no point in driving there.

We had made this whole decision in the middle of the night when both Travis and I woke up and were discussing how much Harper had been obsessed with Disney lately. She watches all the films constantly and she always wanted to meet Elsa. We made the decision to drive when we realized that we couldn't get our accommodation until a day later. We also knew Harper hated the plane so why not drive 17 hours there and have sole family bonding.

"Noooo I tired." She whined. Stretching out her little arms and rolling over onto her tummy. She nuzzled her face in between mine and Travis' pillows and whined a little before relaxing again.

"Come on baby, you wanted to see Anna and Elsa." I told her. She shook her head again. Why are toddlers so complicated sometimes?

"Princess, we really need to set off soon and we want you to be in a nice clean onesie and a new pull up. We also need you to get a few things together so you need to listen to your mommy." Travis told her. I had my hand gently rubbing her back and he was gently tapping her arm too.

Eventually she rolled over to face me. "There's my pretty little girl." I cooed, rubbing her cheek with my thumb. Eventually her eyes opened and I saw her smile a little while reaching over for me. I quickly picked her up.

Once she was in a new onesie and a clean pull up I put her hair into two braids then sent her to collect all of her comfort items as well as a few toys and her IPad. Once she got them all she put them on the counter and I let Travis go through the checklist of what she needed. I had also packed up some extra pacifiers.

"Okay we've got pacifiers, bottles, milk, pumped milk, breakfast, lunch, blankie, Billy, extra blankets, spare clothes, water, pull ups and our suitcases. I think we're good to go." I read out, going through everything on the list. Harper looked up at me with a few tears in her eyes. My poor girl was shattered due to her nightmare.

I gently picked her up and bounced her a little, gently patting her butt and trying to get her to fall asleep against me. We got everything into the back of the car while I gently bounced Harper for a while. We were already running late but I couldn't put her down in the very back of the car alone while she was so upset.

The way we planned was Travis and I in the front, Ellie in the middle and we would put one seat up in the back for Harper so that ducky's bed could be next to her in case she needs her. We did agree that if needed one of us could hop into the back with her and have her swap with Ellie and we made sure that Ellie was more than willing to do that if needed.

"Baby girl, you need to calm down. We have to get going and I don't want you to sit alone while you're so upset. Do you want a bottle?" I asked her, gently wiping away some tears. She shook her head and cried worse, hurrying her face into my chest. "Do you want Snuggie milk?" I asked softly.

Her head slowly lifted and there were fresh tears in her eyes but she slowly nodded. I sighed and looked at the time, slightly panicking but decided that I was smarter than I realized. I headed out to the car and sent Ellie into the far back. Harper and I hopped into the middle and I placed her in my lap facing me, putting the seatbelt across us both. I then let her push my shirt up and do her thing while finding a blanket to cover her with.

Thankfully it didn't take her long to calm down and fall asleep against me. Travis managed to pull over at that point so I put her in the seat that Ellie was in and we all got into our originally planned spaces. While Harper slept, I handed out breakfast to Ellie and Travis, making sure to have some for myself. I wasn't too worried about Harper having breakfast since she was full up with milk anyway.

We spent a few hours on the road but by lunchtime our little diva was awake and hungry. She started hitting ducky and whining but wouldn't tell us that she felt hungry. When I got her a sandwich she huffed and threw it on the floor. "Fuck sake!" I shouted, undoing my seatbelt and turning around.

"Stop this harper I mean it or we're not going! I'm not having you acting like this! Behave and stop hitting Ducky! I've already had enough." I yelled. Harper crossed her arms and I turned back around. I passed back some bananas for her, figuring it would have to do, then I turned away and looked out of the window.

I could hear her little sniffles and sobs but thankfully she was far back enough in the car for them to be muffled. I heard a very faint "I sowy mama." From the back but I didn't even bother to turn and face her. "Play on your iPad, Harper." I told her, leaning against the window and closing my eyes.

The car was in complete silence for a few hours. Eventually I heard shuffling from behind me and all of a sudden Ellie was tapping me desperately. "Taylor... TAYLOR! Harper is bleeding! She's been bleeding for a while too!" She told me. Great. Just what we need.
