It was Wednesday morning Brittany got up threw on her favorite Mickey Mouse Scrubs and gathered herself for her first day of training. She approached the desk and gave the receptionist Ms. Pat her name.
Brittany: Hi, my name is Brittany, and I was hired yesterday by Crystal and was told to report today.
Ms. Pat: One moment, let me call the two leads, Brenda and Tasha they will be training you today.
Brenda and Tasha came to the front desk to get Brittany. They took her on a tour and began to train her.They told Ms. Pat to let Crystal know that Brittany was a perfect fit for the job.
Crystal: Baby, I just received a call from Ms. Pat that Brenda and Tasha spoke highly about Brittany.
Devale: See, baby, I'm so glad it worked out cause I could not allow you to disappoint the kids by cutting the vacation short.
Crystal: Shit, fuck them kids I didn't want to disappoint myself. I need this get-away. I just love it when a good plan comes together. But you're right baby they did well in school all year, and even though they work my nerves they still deserve it.
Just then a knock at the bedroom door and here comes the kids asking how many more day until they leave for vacation.
Crystal looks at Devale and they both chuckled we have a month.
Aniyah: Mommie, can we go get a calendar and mark the days off.
Crystal: Sure Peanut, that would be a fun idea. Baby me and Ni will run to Micheal's to get stuff to make their own personal calendars so they can keep up with the next 30 days.
Devale: Crystal so you saying it's mother and daughter time or did you want the boys and myself to tag along?
Crystal: We can all go but you have to drive. We can grab some take out on the way back.
Devale: That what's up, let's go.
Aniyah: Arms crossed rolling her eyes mommie I thought it would be just me and you going.
Crystal: Unfold your arms little Miss Sass.
Aniyah: But I don't want my brothers to go just me and mommy and daddy only! I hate brothers!
Crystal: Aniyah Grace get a hold of yourself, lately you have been beside yourself and I have not problem helping you find yourself. What the problem?
Aniyah: Nothing! I don't want to do the stupid calendar anymore. She stomped off leaving out her parent's room. And going to her room crying. "I hate it here" as she is going down the hall.
Devale and Crystal was both trying to figure out what happened that turned he mood that quickly. Devale called the boys closer to him.
Devale: What did yall do to my baby?
Papa: Nothing, she a crybaby.
Ace: Papa was mean to Peanut daddy, him not let her play trucks with us because it's boys only daddy.
Devale: This why we need another girl so my baby has someone to play with.
