[Book 2] That time I got reincarnated as a slime,no, a DRAGON?

Ch-110

3rd Person POV

As Rimuru dashed at Knox, Milim punched Knox, who blocked her attack with his right arm. Rimuru, who was able to catch Knox in a lock with Milim punched his right arm. Knox took the attack head on, thinking that it wouldn't amount to much.

But what he wasn't expecting was for Rimuru to use Nihilium. He didn't even know he could use Nihilium, so there was no way he could have guessed, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't suffer.

Rimuru punched Knox's right shoulder, the explosive power of Nihilium caused his right shoulder to completely tear off of him with a loud boom.

Before Knox could regain his footing, Milim followed up Rimuru's attack by aiming a punch straight at his head. Knox ducked at the last moment, only for him to come face-to-face with Rimuru's feet.

With a loud cracking noise, Rimuru kicked Knox in the face. He went crashing into a nearby building. But, contrary to what everyone expected, Knox came out of the rubble. Despite the injuries and missing an arm, he had already began to heal.

He walked calmly towards them before suddenly teleporting behind Ciel. He was about to cut her with the sword he wielded in his left hand, but was blocked by Chloe. Seeing as how his attack failed, he was about to teleport away, but from Ciel's shadow, tentacle like objects emerged and intertwined with him.

Knox who was now stuck in place was the prime target for two of the strongest attacks that could be unleashed.

"DRAGO-NOVA!" Milim screamed as Rimuru also unleashed a pure beam of Nihilium straight at Knox. Before Knox could even say anything he was hit by both of the attacks. And, as if to put the final nail in the coffin, the entire area where Knox was standing was devoured a black dome. Once the done disappeared, nothing was left there, not even air. It left a vacuum, which was filled by air causing loud and uncontrolled gush of wind to blow.

"Hmph. You think you guys are the only one who got stronger?" Guy asked with a smirk.

"Well, I was expecting a bit more fun." Milim said disappointed.
"Well you can't expect much. It was five on one, after all." Guy responded.

Though the two were merrily chatting, Ciel and Rimuru were different. They looked to be on guard and confused. This fight had been much easier than the fight against Qaris or Xenos. If those two are his subordinates, them without a doubt he should be stronger.

"Looks like your wish came true Milim." Rimuru said as he saw something move in the corner of his eye.

Hearing him, everyone turned to look at what Rimuru was looking. The thing that they were looking at twitched as of it was alive, before quickly regenerating back into a complete body.

That's right. What they were looking at was the severed right arm that Rimuru had blown off. That right arm had now completely recreated Knox's body.

"It looks like his core was in his right arm." Ciel analysed.

"I doubt we will be as lucky as we were now. It seems like we will have to go all out." Guy said as weird markings, similar, yet different to that of Rimuru showed up on his skin.

As Knox regenerated completely from his arm, he was covered in a myriad of lines running nearly vertically down him body.

Unlike the Crest of Sin that had a bright red colour or the Crest of Virtue that had a golden hue, Knox's crest glowed blue. Along with him, the Armor he was wearing had also completely regenerated. 

"It looks like you have only gotten stronger than before, Rimuru." Knox said as he looked at the part of the city that was left unrecognisable after Milim's and Rimuru's attack.

"I won't remain as weak as I always was, Knox." Rimuru said, as Nihilium started to flow through his crest, making the black crest turn to a shade of violet.

Seeing that Rimuru was going all out, Guy also started to feed the crest the energy that he called Abyss energy. He managed to create this energy after mixing his own magicules and copying Rimuru's Turn Null and Milim's Stardust.

Though less versatile than either Stardust or Turn Null, it was still much easier to use. This was the first time Guy had used this, specifically because there was no need for him to go all out and use Abyss Energy before this.

Knox, meanwhile, took action first this time. He dashed straight at Rimuru. Rimuru who saw him closing the distance shot a fire breath straight at Knox. Knox was surprised, but soon realised the fact that he had forgotten that Rimuru was a dragon.

But Knox, not fazed by this, continued to move through the flame. A flame like this would barely scorch Knox's skin. And Rimuru knew this as well. The flange was not to attack him, but rather to create a blind spot. By the time Knox crossed the flame, he met Guy instead of Rimuru.

Both Guy and Knox collided in an exchange of fists so fast that they had exchanged atleast a few hundred punches in just a five seconds.

Meanwhile, Rimuru shot a bullet straight at Knox from the side. Knox didn't bother to dodge as the bullet was not aimed at his core. He rather focused on dealing with Guy. But, just as the bullet was passing through him, the bullet suddenly exploded as electricity spread throughout Knox's body, paralysing him.

Guy, obviously, capitalised on this and punched him straight towards Rimuru. What followed was Knox being treated as a pinball bouncing from one place to another.

Courtesy to the paralysis, Knox could do nothing more than look as he was being thrashed. But, despite that, Knox wasn't particularly worried. After all, Rimuru and Guy had no way to defeat him.

This was just a temporary measure to stop him. Or atleast that's what he thought. Just as Guy launched him in the sky, Rimuru appeared above him with Despair in his hands, but this time Despair wasn't in its sword form, but it scissor form with a large ball of Nihilium in between it.

Rimuru swung the sword straight at him, causing the ball of Nihilium to go straight at Knox. Knox's eyes went wide as he realised the danger he was in, but was unable to do anything. The ball collided straight with his chest, gnawing away at his energy and physically devouring his body.

Of course, Knox, started to regain his control over his body as the Nihilium also devoured the electricity inside him, but it was too late.  More than half of his body had already been devoured. Add to the fact that Guy and Rimuru continuously bombarding him from long range attack, not letting him regenerate.

Knox only had one way to survive, and without hesitation he took the step. And that was to self destruct.
