Rimuru's POV

Yggdrasil was definitely shocked to see a sword piercing through her stomach. Well, I can definitely understand. Everyone she was fighting against was in front of her, so we could have attacked her from behind?

"Did you really forget about me?" Ruminas said with a sly smile as she retracted her sword, making Yggdrasil's blood splatter in all direction.

But, the blood that was splattered everywhere came together to form a ball of blood floating in front of Yggdrasil and Ruminas, getting bigger by the moment.

"I have to say. Your vitality is no joke. Your blood is one of the most delicious that I have ever had." Ruminas said as she took a drop of blood on her finger and drank it.

I could never understand how Ruminas could drink blood like that. Do vampires just not get that feeling of disgust about drinking blood? Well, I guess it's their nature.

"H-How?" That was the last word that Yggdrasil muttered before stopping her useless struggles and falling to the ground. Ruminas tried to extract her soul, but failed as the soul left the arena.

"Tch. I though I could atleast catch her soul." Ruminas said while clicking her tongue.

"You should have known that isn't possible. You already tried it with that statue, and it didn't work. Why even bother to do it again? You know the is something like the VOTW here." Leon said as he was burning a bit of blood that was stuck onto his Armor.

It seems like both Ruminas and Leon managed to defeat their foes and made their way here. Yggdrasil had completely forgotten about those two. Or she believed that it would be Orcanyx and Behemoth who would win. Unfortunately for her, she was wrong and was caught off-guard. Even if she wasn't, there was no way she would have won.

"Thanks for your help." I turn around to see Arun bowing. Behind him, all the other earthlings were also bowing. Though it seemed like they were showing respect, I could sense unease and grief in them.

"No problem. This was the deal, wasn't it? It's obvious that I would do this." I reply.

"...Obvious, huh?" Arun said with a dry laugh. He was about to say something else, but the surroundings around is began to change from the flattened city, back to the arena.

Right in front of us, light particles began to condense as it slowly took form of the individuals, Orcanyx, Behemoth and obviously, Yggdrasil.

"Where's Knox?" It was Behemoth who asked this question. But Yggdrasil and Orcanyx were not surprised. Looks like they had already guessed that Knox had only sent a clone over.

"I am surprised you can even say that. I was sure you know that the real Knox was not here. If he had truly been here, it wouldn't have been such a grueling fight for us. He alone would have been enough to deal with all of them." Orcanyx replied. I did not say anything. After all, she was most probably right.

"So? Just as promised, I will not interfere with your world anymore. Congratulations, heroes. I wonder where you will go from now." Yggdrasil said nonchalantly as of she didn't really care, which makes sense, since there are many other worlds out there which she can absorb anyways.

"Which world are you planning to give us?" Guy asked with a smirk. I might have a world of my own, but I doubt Guy had one. Rather, I doubt anyone apart from Veldanava has one.

"What are you acting so haughty for? It's not like you will get that world." I say as I was towards Guy.

"Huh. Who else but me? I am the only one amongst us who even has a personal world. None of you would have anything to provide if we had lost. So technically, it was just me who was participating in this bet." Guy said as of it was obvious for us to know that he had a world as well.

"Well, sorry to burst your bubble I have one as well. And I am just as much entitled to get it as you are."

"What's the point of even fighting? We can just discuss it later on. Right now, it is better to leave. I am sick and tired of this place." Surprisingly, it was Zelanus who said this.

"Very well. We will discuss about this later." Guy said.

"Well, now that you are sorted out, we will have over the authority of his world to you." Orcanyx said monotonously as she pointed at a random booth.

"I assume this is Finn's?" Ciel asked as she looked at the world core that Orcanyx had given to us. This is the first time I had seen a World Core. It's no different than that of a monster, apart from its size. Does that mean that these worlds are a type of monsters as well?

"That's right. Luckily I took what I wanted from the core before the match began just as a caution. Who would have guessed that we would have lost." Orcanyx said as he turned around and walked off the arena. Behemoth looked like he had a lot say, but at the just turned around and walked away.

"I guess we should leave as well. You owe me a lifetime supply of good food for this though." Yuuki said as he turned towards the exit of the arena after telling that to me.

"Let's go. " I say to Ciel and Chloe who follow after me. Soon after, everyone else follow us out as well, leaving the arena empty. As we came outside the arena, the earthlings were talking to each other with smiles on their faces.

"Arun. Catch." I say as I throw the ring Arun had given me back to him. Arun instinctively caught it and have me a wry smile.

"Looks like our agreement has come to an end. Since you have done your side of the deal, we will do our side of the deal. Feel free to come into the towers at any time." Arun said.

"Yeah. We will definitely come to see the towers. Good luck stabilizing your world. Even though we defeated Yggdrasil, I doubt the damage done by the best will just disappear." I respond to him.

"Yes. Humanity suffered a lot, but it survived none the less." Arun said with a sad smile.

With this, the future that they will tread will be much different from what I know. They won't be forced to leave their planet and they might even revitalize it, now that they can use magic.

"Let's go back to our booth." I say as I enter the corridors along with the rest of the people and we were guided to our booth.
