Rimuru's POV

"I said raise your hands, you damn monster." The guard said as he shot near my feet, trying to threaten me.

"I don't think I will." I say as I quickly teleport behind him and take his gun out of his hand.

"Hmm... How did you make this though? It seems quite advanced for what I had expected the technology here to be like." I say as I fiddle around with the gun.

It was definitely not some state of the art weapon, rather to me, it was worse than even a child's toy. But that was for me. For them, this was way beyond something they should have.

"Y-You. Soldiers! Open fire. Kill these two monsters." The leader shouted despite the fact that not only had I teleported behind him, but also managed to take his gun from him. As the soldiers shot, all the bullets came to a halt in front of me and Ciel.

Seeing this, the eyes of every soldier went wide as they could not understand what was going on.

"Impossible! There is no way you are Lord Chronos's Avatar! Who are you? Speak!"

"Shut up." I said as I released a bit more of my aura.

"I understand that you are doing your duty by capturing an unidentified threat. That is why I didn't say anything. But there is a limit to your idiotic actions. Even a toddler would realise that we are more powerful to you. Speak in a proper tone!" I spat out in anger.

I don't know who this Chronos is, but if he can make a Avatar, he must be considerably strong. But I do not remember hearing his name from Finn.

"What's going on here? I heard there was an opponent that was too strong here." A girl in a long white robe adorned with blue and golden embroidery. With a staff, that was longer than her, she came towards us while running. The staff was made of stone sort of metal with a golden hue and at the top of the staff was large blue ball, floating inside a golden cage that emerged out of the staff.

As soon as she noticed and how all guards were kneeling with their heads on the floor, she began to mutter something under her breath.

"Don't underestimate her."
"Yes. I feel a similar sense of power as Chloe."

And just as I had expected, the time around suddenly slowed down. It slowed down to such an extent that it seemed that works had come to a standstill. Looks like she can also control time. Though her control is not as good as Chloe's, but I doubt she will lose to anyone else. I am sure even Finn won't be able to move.

Are we really in the right world? We didn't follow Cyrus to a completely different worlds, did we?

I slowly look at the girl, who looked barely twenty slowly walk towards me and raise her staff as if preparing to hit me with it. In all reality, I wouldn't have moved and let her attack me, but what she did, or rather the lack of it, scared me.

Instead of imbuing magicules into the staff or activating any special mechanism, she was just going to bash me with it with pure, unadulterated, brute force. Or atleast as much force as she could summon.

My instincts were as calm as a lake, but my logical mind was telling me to dodge. That there must be something hidden behind this move. But after a short fight between my instincts and logic, I decided to trust my gut. After all, it is because of my instincts that I had managed to survive this long. I am willing to bet on it again.

I do not move, and seeing that I am not moving, Ciel does the same, as the woman locus the staff, all the while struggling to do so, and once she had managed to bring it all the way above her head, she brought it down at me.

*Clank*

The top of the staff hits my head and bounces off of it. The girl lost her grip on the staff and fell in her butt.

"Eh? How?" The girl looked genuinely confused as she stood up and looked around, trying to figure out what was going on.

"Hmm... Dear didn't do anything, so I played along with him, but what exactly were you trying to do to my husband? Surely, you didn't think that a brute force attack of that calibre could hurt him, did you?" Ciel said as she moved behind the girl. The girl turned around and stumbled backwards into me.

"Careful. You should really take a good look at your surroundings." I said as I prevented her from falling. But she seemed so confused that she couldn't even mutter anything and just blankly stared at my face, and then at Ciel's, all the while opening and closing her mouth like a fish, as of trying to say something.

"Calm down. You look so embarrassed that it feels like we were the one to attack you out of nowhere." Ciel said as she placed her hand on her shoulder, which caused the girl to flinch, but she didn't manage to escape Ciel's grip.

"H-How? N-nobody should be able to move in this world. I s-slowed down the time by a million times." The girl said in complete disbelief while stuttering in fear.

"Nobody? Isn't that quite arrogant of you? Do you think that you are the only one who has attained this level of power?" Ciel asked as she started into the girl's eyes, causing her to stiffen up in fear.

"And this is isn't even the peak of time control. You have only slowed down time. Both me and dear and can move around normally, even in such small quantities of time. This is the true peak of time control." Ciel said as she completely stopped time of the entire world, activating the Suspended World.

The girl, obviously, was also unable to move, or even process and think, until Ciel granted her the authority to do so. The girl, who then looked around finally realised what had happened.

"I can't see anything. But how? My eyes are not injured. What did you do?!" She asked as she violently tried to break out of Ciel's grip, but ur was all for naught.

"The reason you cannot see anything is because even the light particles that enable you to see are frozen in time, unable to move. In reality, even you wouldn't be able to move if it wasn't because of me.

"Im-impossible! Only Lord Chronos's power should enable someone to do such a thing."

"All right! I am sick and tired of listening alot this Chronos! Who is Chronos? And who are you!?"
