Few days later...
3rd Person POV

Though most problems had been sorted, Rimuru still had to decide on a few more things. Rimuru had managed to gain the World Core that belonged to Eternal, and later should have belonged to Finn.

But now that it was in Rimuru's hand, Rimuru was not going to return it just from the kindness of his heart. Even though he has a personal World, majority of it has to be used to create Nihilium, so it must remain void and empty.

So, this new world is the perfect place for him to transfer Tempest. But, the important thing would be to do decide how to control the world. But after deciding with Ciel, he came to a conclusion. Let the world be. They are in no hurry to control that world.

Anyways, it should be Finn or Rizzete who should contact them first. After all, it was their lives that are at risk. And that is exactly what happened.

Rimuru's POV
A few days after they can't back...

As I continue to sign papers that had assimilated over the five years I was absent, a joker card appeared in front of me. The card quickly grew in size until it was as big as a door, and a purple aura oozed out of it. I already know who it is.

"Cyrus, I didn't think it would take you so long to contact me." I speak nonchalantly as I continue to sign my papers.

Through the card, a man with tanned skin, covered in brown leather adventure suit walked in. He removed his hat and bowed.

"Surely you jest. Finn and Rizzete were too busy trying to settle things. Now that they have failed to obtained the world core, the other countries are taking this as a chance and have attacked Rigland."

"Hmm... I don't see the problem. They might not be as strong as us, but they are still True awakened Gods. They should be strong enough to defeat anyone in their world."

"That's right. But they are too busy trying to sort it out while keeping the casualties to a minimum on both sides."

"So? What do you have to say to me?"
"That completely depends on what you decide to do with the world core. Unfortunately, since the world core has been away from the world for quite some time, the quality of mana is rapidly degrading. So I would suggest that you atleast bring the core back to our world."

"And what do I stand to gain from it?"
"... To tell you the truth, I'll be honest with you. Nothing. There's nothing you gain from this, well apart from the fact that the world is not completely destroyed.

The truth is, there is a different reason that I had approached you for." Cyrus said while scratching the back of his head while sighing.
"And what's that?

"I want you to become the true God of that world. You know, to become their guardian, unite them and control them and all that?"

"That sounds troublesome."
"It is, but it is not without merit. Right now, Finn and Rizzete are alive, so it doesn't matter, but once they die, things will go bad real quick.

We found traces of Chaos monsters all over the world. Now that we know how a Chaos monster looks like, and how they behave. I am surprised to say that there is too much activity of Chaos Monsters.

I don't know what Eternal was doing before Finn and Rizzete killed him, but he was definitely not keeping these Chaos Monsters in check."

"Well, I can understand that Chaos Monsters are quite problematic, but I doubt Finn and Rizzete will die so quickly. They are Gods after all. They will live for a good amount of time. Why are coming to me for this?"

"Long time? If you consider a few thousand years long, then I guess so."
"Huh?"

"Both Finn and Rizzete are false gods. They are not true Gods. They may have obtained an inheritance, but it didn't belong to them. Both of them taken over the concept of «Eternity» from Eternal, but that concept is not for them. They are not at harmony with the power and will not be able to use it well."

"They got their concept from someone else? Is that even possible?"

"Even I didn't think it was possible until I saw them. "

"... Well, I have no plans to interfere in that world. As for bringing the world core, I will do something about it. So you need not worry."

"Is that so? Then I am glad. I will take my leave then." Cyrus said as he bowed to me before turning around and re entering the card.

Once he left, the room became silent and purple illumination died down. I turned to look at Ciel, who was standing at the corner of the room while hiding her presence. Since we have a soul connection, I was able to feel her entering the room when Cyrus appeared, but I doubt Cyrus had managed to see through her.

"What do you think?" I ask her.

"Well. There are a lot of things that can be done. Not returning the world core and letting the world break apart is not beneficial to us at all. Rather, I have an  proposal." Ciel said with with an evil smirk.

"That is?"

"Why not devour their entire world?"
"Devour the entire world? The ENTIRE WORLD?!!" I unintentionally scream out loud.

"Are you sure that is even possible?"
"We will never know until we try."

Now that I think about it, I have never actually felt a limit on what I could devour. Obviously devouring Velgrynd while she was resisting was definitely painful, it was not the limit. If that's the case, then it might just be possible.

"You want to go right now?" Ciel asked with a smirk.
"Why not? I doubt it will take long either way." I say as I stand up and open a portal to the same place as the one Cyrus had come from.

As we passed through the portal, we found ourselves in an alleyway. We made our way to the main street and came across a bustling market. As we continued to move through the market, many vendors tried to seek us their goods, but we politely declined and continued our way.

"It will be difficult to find Finn and Rizzete here." I say. Finn and Rizzete might be in this world, but this world is not small. It might be smaller compared to Cardinal World, but it is still as big as the Eastern Empire.

"Why not let them come to us?" Ciel said as she started to release small traces of her aura. I follow t reed her example and did the same.

In less than a few minutes, many guards armed with what seemed like guns and plasma cannons surrounded us.

"Raise your hands up and quietly follow us." The person who seemed to be the leader said as he pointed his gun at us. All the vendors and market goers had already fled the scene in terror.

"Hmm... Looks like we made a mistake. I don't think we are in Rigland." I mutter out loud.
