Rimuru's POV

As I followed Veldanava through the portal, I came onto an open white space. It was so white that it seemed to extend indefinitely, though it was only a space as large as a cubic kilometer. Apart from us, everyone else was already standing there.

"This is the fabric of Void. Since I am the one who imbued it with magicules, this is how it became. Different people's magicules will have different effects."

As I look around, Ciel starts to analyse this 'Fabric of Void.' I feel quite an affinity with it. Is it because of the skill I used to have?

Just as Guy was about to approach me for something, a tear in the fabric of Void occurred.

"Come on. This is our signal." Veldanava said as he passed through the portal. I quickly send a message to all my subordinates that I am leaving. I have already told them what things they need to do, so that shouldn't really be a problem.

As I passed through the portal, I was surprised to enter, what seemed like, a large banquet hall. Everyone who was present here was a God, and I can't deny that statement at all. I look around, and apart from a few, I am not confident of winning against them.

As soon as we arrived, I had thought that the attention would be on us, but only the keen eyed people noticed us as everyone else's attention was towards the centre of a banquet where a commotion was ongoing.

"Don't go around feigning ignorance, Orcanyx!! Why are you minions in my world?!" A man with brown hair and brown eyes was telling at another man, no, a creature. The man had a set of exquisite divine golden Armor that he was wearing. Meanwhile Orcanyx, whom I have heard a lot about was much different than I had expected. His body was stiff as if it was made of stone, yet he was able to move quickly and precisely. His face was blank with only two eyes and a mouth. It seemed almost comical and eerie at the same time.

"As I said, Finn. If you want accuse me falsely, we can fight it out right now. Let's see which of our worlds is stronger." Orcanyx said while snickering. As I looked around to see how the other Gods were going to respond, I saw a man in a purple coat and pants. He had two cards in his hands which them became four, before disappearing.

He suddenly looked at me, and smiled, noticing that I was looking at him. Why do I feel like I have seen him somewhere?

"Isn't he that same man who we saw during the fight with the orc lord?" Ciel whispered in my ears. That suddenly made me remember. That's right. He was the one whom I had seen. I thought I was imagining things, but he really was there!

(A/N:- For all those who have forgotten, please read book 1 and the chapter named orc lord again. I have forgotten which chapter number it was. This has got to be the oldest spoiler of the story.)

"Orcanyx! Make your troops retreat and I will not follow up on this matter anymore." Finn said with a firm tone.

"You are banging on the wrong door, Finn. I have no idea what you are talking about. But if you are going to continue to accuse me of such things, I will not sit back and wait." Orcanyx said with a smirk. It was clear as day as what he meant by that.

But Finn could not respond back. Finn might be a great warrior, but he is not suitable to be a God in charge of a world. He has no knowledge of how to deal with such political situations. Meanwhile Orcanyx seems quite good at manipulations. He reminds of Clayman a lot in that sense.

"Orcanyx, you might be feigning ignorance, but can you really say these do not belong to your troops?" A girl with long blonde hair and black eyes, with a beautiful face, clad in a blue and white Armor said as she showed something that was in her hand.

It was a black orb, that had a unique shine on it. Seeing it, Orcanyx, who had a smug face till now suddenly turned serious.

"How do you have that orb Rizzete?" Orcanyx asked in a grim tone. The sudden change in atmosphere caught a few Gods in surprise. I don't know what they orb is, but I am plenty sure it is something important to him.

"As Finn said, the undeads which were attacking us had this on them. Did you think we were accusing you without any proof?" The woman named Rizzete said as she lifted the orb above everyone so that it could be seen.

"This item is called the orb of suffering. Orcanyx is famous for being the sole producer and owner of this orb. The fact that the undeads were carrying this is enough proof that Orcanyx was the one behind this attack."

Tch. I have no clue which side is telling the truth. From the looks of it, it seems clear that Finn is on the side of justice, but I can't just ignore the fact that I have no idea what's going on. I don't want to be led around by the nose because I have little to no information regarding what's going on.

I look around and see that Veldanava has already left along with Lucia. Neither was Velgrynd or Velzard present here. Veldora had decided to stay back at Tempest. Seeing this, everyone related to Veldanava is missing. Does he need to be somewhere?

Seeing that he was nowhere to be seen, a sudden realisation hit me. I look at the walls of the room. They were highly decorated, adorned with paintings and curtains, covering windows, which show nothing. But for some reason, the ceiling was too high.

"Ciel, something is wrong with the dimensions of the room." I whispered to her.

"You're right. It's as if there is a second floor, even a third. But that wouldn't make any sense."
"... A floor might not, but a balcony? That's possible." I point out.

As if understanding what I meant, Ciel released a bit of her and directed it towards the wall. I supported her aura, and as expected, there was an illusion magic set up. I used my aura to lightly trace the second floor balcony, and it seemed that many Gods were sitting comfortably, as if enjoying the commotion. One of them was Veldanava, along with a few other Gods.

The balcony was present on all the four sides of the room, and it seemed each of the four side was a place for a faction of itself. The side where Veldanava should be for non interactive Gods. I didn't use my aura to see how everyone looked as that might alert them.

"That's enough!" Orcanyx shouted and was about to unleash his aura completely, but was stopped by a man wearing complete body Armor. It even covered his entire face. I have seen him once. In the the Hall of Fame. He is the same knight that I had seen just before leaving.

"What? Do you think I am afraid?! I just hate you Gods. Thinking that is done sort of game or entertainment!" Finn said as his eyes turned golden and he looked towards the second floor balcony.
