Thanks to Yan Zhao, Ren Qingyue experienced crawling through a dog hole for the first time in her life.

Yan Zhao quickly crawled through the dog hole and arrived outside the warehouse. The warehouse door was locked with an iron padlock. Yan Zhao tried pushing and pulling a few times but couldn't open it.

Peering through the gap in the door, she saw a few large barrels lined up on the left side of the room, with over a hundred jars of wine stacked up, while the right side was piled with countless sacks. There were also a few pieces of smoked meat hanging from the beams.

This was indeed the bandit's granary.

There was a small skylight on the right side of the roof, but it was even smaller than the dog hole. Yan Zhao measured it with her eyes and frowned, "Can't fit through."

The little fox emerged from her collar, thinking: The Black Heaven Overlord isn't inside there anyway.

Yan Zhao's chin was rubbed by the fox's fur. She suddenly grabbed it from her pocket, inspected it from head to tail.

The fox's fur bristled: What are you doing?!

Yan Zhao grinned, "I can't get in, but you can. I'm not asking for much; just help me get those pieces of meat out."

The little fox: "???"

Yan Zhao counted on her fingers, "One, two, three... there are twenty pieces. Go and get them. We'll split them eighty-twenty."

The little fox was incredulous, its emerald-like eyes widened: You want me to help you steal something? And eighty-twenty!!

Not waiting for a response, Yan Zhao took it as a consent. She skillfully climbed onto the roof, approached the skylight, and pulled the fox by its tail, sending it inside and placing it on the beams.

The little fox: "......"

It seemed if it didn't get the meat, Yan Zhao wouldn't let it come up.

What a disgrace!

The fox's teeth itched with frustration.

The bandits began to return one by one. Although Yan Zhao was well-hidden, she couldn't stay there for long, fearing detection. She poked her head into the skylight and urged, "Hurry up!"

The little fox quickly grabbed two pieces of meat and tried to convince itself: After all, the bandits' food was stolen!

Yan Zhao waited for a while and suddenly saw a tail tip appear below the skylight, swaying left and right.

Yan Zhao grabbed the tail and pulled it out, glanced at the fox's haul, and was not quite satisfied, "Why only two pieces?"

The little fox gave her a look: Take it or leave it.

Yan Zhao was about to use the same trick again when the fox suddenly jumped behind her, bit her clothes, and dragged her down from the roof.

A bandit heard the noise, "What's that sound?!"

Yan Zhao held the fox and hid in the shadow of the eaves, remaining silent.

The bandits looked around but found nothing, "Must be a mouse."

Yan Zhao put away the two pieces of cured meat, waited until the bandits lost their vigilance, then cautiously moved along the fence.

The next destination was the kitchen.

The sky was gradually darkening. From the mountaintop, the sunset was visible in the distance.

The eastern sky was a dull blue, while the west was illuminated by fiery red clouds, creating a distinct line between day and night.
