"It seems like we are a bit late."
Lei Shuang suddenly appeared by the pool and looked at the exposed mountain wall in the distance. "The protective formation has been breached by external forces; someone has already entered."
As she spoke, Feng Jin also appeared beside her. Seeing the characters engraved on the stone wall of the cave entrance, he turned to Lei Shuang and asked, "Have you been to this cave before?"
Lei Shuang shrugged and smiled. "How could I have been here before?"
"Indeed," Feng Jin said, retracting his gaze. He leaped into the air, stepping onto his flying sword, and shot towards the mountain wall.
Lei Shuang followed closely behind. "Aren't you going to wait for me?!"
As soon as they left, two more people emerged from the forest.
Bai Jin hurried to the poolside, looking at the waterfall that had split in two from a distance. He complained, "I told you to move faster! Those scattered cultivators are like hungry wolves, practically trying to take everything they see. I'm afraid there won't be anything left intact inside."
Tu Shan Yu remained unhurried and shook his head. "You underestimate the cultivators of the Great Ascension stage. Yuan Qing is very skilled in formations; her cave must have many layers of protection. It can't be so easily broken."
"I don't care!" Bai Jin stomped his foot and dragged Tu Shan Yu towards the mountain wall. "Hurry up!"
The scene changed abruptly, and the flying sword beneath them suddenly lost its brilliance.
Suddenly losing support, Bi Lan lost her balance. Her reaction was a moment too late, and she fell, hitting the ground hard.
She crashed into a courtyard, getting buried in a sea of flowers.
After struggling for a while, Bi Lan managed to push herself up, looking around.
Everywhere she looked were swaying, beautiful spiritual flowers.
She was covered in flower petals, emitting a rich fragrance.
Yan Zhao was not here; she had gotten separated from her.
Bi Lan got up from the ground, brushed off the flower petals, and took out a compass to try and locate Yan Zhao's position.
However, the needle on the compass spun uncontrollably and would not stop.
At the moment they entered the cave, the compass stopped working.
After a while, Bi Lan put the compass away.
Looking around, she saw a palace in the distance, but it was too far to see more than a small part of it.
She decided to head that way.
She made a gesture to summon her flying sword, but even though the spell was complete, the sword did not respond.
"..."
As expected of a Great Ascension stage cultivator, even after being gone for three hundred years, the rules she set still functioned.
Bi Lan felt constrained in every direction.
However, this also confirmed her suspicion that this Immortal Manor must contain many opportunities.
Bi Lan navigated her way out of the flower sea and reached a red wall, searching along it for an entrance.
She felt she had been walking for over half an hour, but the red wall seemed endless.
As she walked, a thought suddenly crossed her mind.
