Diablo and Testarossa challenged the White Ice Dragon once again. This time they were stronger, as strong as full-fledged Demon Lords.
The Frost Dragon's mind was plagued by conflicted thoughts. Guy had lost. His defeat happened in Suspended World, and Velzard saw everything. She couldn't believe that Guy would lose to anyone else except her elder brother.
Her brother, Veldanava, was the one and only person Guy had lost to. Seeing him lose to Rimuru confused Velzard deeply. She pondered over that fact instead of using the stopped world Guy provided to end her own battle with her brother and the Daemons.
Guy was her friend and partner, one of a few she considered to be her equal. Though she tried her best to elevate their relationship, Guy seemed to take interest in Leon more than her.
Envy was a powerful emotion, and Velzard harbored tons of it. Even if she was bitter about his choice of lover, it still angered her to see him being defeated like this.
But knowing him, Guy would be extremely mad if Velzard laid her hand on Rimuru. Guy liked to have strong people around him, not only for a game with Rudra, but also for his own lust for battles. Sometimes she felt like he just didn't care about her feelings.
'See, Guy. You have been defeated for the first time in millenia. You can't do this alone. You need my help. You need my power. You need me!'
True Dragons weren't the best when it came to their emotional stability.
Veldanava was too innocent for his own good. Calling Velgrynd 'attached to Rudra' was largely an understatement. Veldora had extremely volatile emotions which thankfully seemed to get better with Rimuru being around.
And Velzard might resort to a drastic measure for Guy's attention and affection. 'Ah, this is not good. I start to sound more like my sister-in-law every single day. That can't be a good sign.'
'Speaking of Rimuru...' That Majin came out of nowhere, befriended Veldora and won in a fight with Guy. No matter how you looked at it, he was a huge problem.
Velzard couldn't comprehend what that guy was. He could use Stardust just like Milim, so she firstly believed that Rimuru was one of those False Gods. But frankly, he didn't act like one.
There were 2 False Gods that manifested in the Cardinal World before him; a pair of Evil Dragons born from rage and twisted love for Humanity.
Rimuru shared no resemblance to those Dragons. Unlike those beasts who towering over everyone, Rimuru was slender and delicate. And unlike those beasts who carried themselves with a loathful attitude, Rimuru was calm and negotiable. But if he wasn't a False God, then what was he?
There was no way that a regular Majin could defeat Guy. Rimuru would need more than Stardust to defeat him, Ultimate skill maybe? 'His essence feels strange... Corrupted, yet familiar...' It would make sense for her to feel like that if Rimuru was a False God.
'If he is a False God, then that would explain why Noir is serving under him.'
It had been a while since she met the Primordial Black the last time. He didn't change a bit, he was a Daemon after all, change wasn't something he did often.
They didn't often change their look, their fighting style and they certainly didn't change their Master. Daemons like Rain and Mizari swore their loyalty to Guy for the rest of their existence. They were incapable of changing their Master.
But then again, Diablo was always the odd one out. He didn't operate like other Primordials or regular Daemons.
Seeing him serving someone else other than her big brother was strange, but wasn't out of pocket when it came to Noir. "Can I ask you something, Noir?"
